My senior project team is making a small database to assist a non-profit organization with scheduling and this is helpful. A lot of your videos were actually.
Good morning, great video. I have just one question. If you use a combo box to select a User on form A and you later inactive that user on Current Users table, how do you stop that user being removed from the previous selection? If I delete the user it says #deleted.
I'm a Silver member and using Access 16 (365). This code doesn't work for me. I've tried several times, watching this video over and over. Does this code work for the version of Access I'm using.
I was getting the message data mismatch. I figured it out. My form has a combo box that's a number and the other was a text. I was able to fix the code so it would run correctly. Thanks for getting back to me.
Does this work on views too? I have a view where i need to remove bulk data but not to delete those rows. How shall i modify the query. It uses view by the way

599cd.com/Ask - I need more specifics. What code exactly? 99% of all the code I post works in every version of Access.

You just add the soft delete field to the table. Doesn't matter if you're using an SQL view or an Access query.
I am unable to view the video - comes up as squiggly lines. do you have to be a member before you can see it?
Nope. That's not a member-only video. It should play fine. Nobody else has complained, so I'm assuming it's a problem on your system.
Thanks.
Welcome!
