Gone is a cc staple for many years. The building is a historic reminder of the past of Philadelphia as the Wanamker Building. The Christmas Show is iconic as well as the Eagle. Very sad day for Philadelphia.
Macy's really never belonged in Center City Philadelphia just like a basketball arena. Maybe city should clean up the streets in Center City and deal with homeless problems. You can put pretty bows on a pig but its still a pig.
Center City will never be what it once was like every othe city the shopping district is a thing of the past do to technology everyone is shopping on line. I wish everone all the best but this isnt going to happen for one major reason you wont stop crime at all cost.
