This was my first purchase from them. I wanted a leather backpack because I use a cane and like to hold my husband's hand too. I got the cold brew color and it is a great dark brown. Probably one of the best bags I've ever purchased (and I am in my sixties!).
It fits bandaids, flossers, sticks of gum, folded tissues, coins…pretty much anything except business cards. It is supposed to fit credit cards too but I find them to be a tight fit. Cash will fit easily though
Nice review! How much more does the Tote Backpack fit compared to Triangle Bag? And which classic Leather Tote (not crossbody) would you say is most comparable to the Tote Backpack in terms of storage? (Small or Medium?). Thanks!
Thanks! I actually don’t have the triangle bag or a classic tote so I’m not sure, but from what I remember of my sister’s triangle bag, the backpack could hold a couple more items bc the triangle’s silhouette is much slimmer. According to the plg website, the tote backpack is a medium tote just re-engineered.
What would you recommend if you want a pebbled but needed some structure? I am a stroke survivor & I really can’t have a bag that won’t stand on its own. I love cold brew color though, thanks for you opinion.
For a pebbled leather your options are pretty limited unless you can get your hands on a limited edition color that has light pebbling, like eucalyptus or mulberry. If you like the color of cold brew, grizzly is the same shade but is smooth without pebbles, so it has a lot more structure. Cognac and honey also stand up on their own a lot better than the pebbled leathers. I’m not sure how floppy pebbled black is but I’d imagine it’s similar to cold brew if not a little stiffer.
I recommend Pebbled Black! I don’t own the Tote Backpack (yet) but I have Pebbled Black in the Bucket Backpack and Rolltop Backpack. My Pebbled Black items are by far thicker and more structured than my Nutmeg and Coldbrew bags. Coldbrew is my squishiest/softest/slouchiest material of my collection.

I’m so glad you love your tote backpack too! 😊
I agree, I am in my late 60's and it's not too heavy to carry around as a day pack.
Wow as someone with a 12.5 inch laptop I was holding back from getting this and now I want it !
Definitely get it! If you have just a thin sleeve on the laptop it should fit fine :)
Wow!! I was wondering the same thing! Thank you so much for making this video!
You’re welcome!
Hi again.. I am new to PLGS and was wondering if you can tell me what the little purple scalloped case fits inside. TY
Hi! That is the mini daisy:) it comes in more colors too! I believe it’s available in mulberry now, unless it has sold out

Does the cold brew stand up when empty on its own? I’m really interested in this color. Thank you for any help you can give me!
It can but it’s still a little floppy so probably not for long. It’s not as floppy as nutmeg though. Cold brew is a great color regardless :)
Just came across your videos and love them! 😊 What PLG bag do you use the most?
Thanks so much! I've been reaching for my tote backpack the most since I got it in the fall. The full sized crossbody is a close second :)

Good to know, thanks!
Have you noticed any color transfer on your littles from the inside of the bag? I’m thinking I like the cold brew
Nope, no color transfer at all from coldbrew. I’ve heard there’s a lot of transfer from smooth black but I’ve avoided it bc of that
What was the imperfection on your bag? I’m thinking of buying an Almost Perfect bag as well since they have some on their site now. Thank you
I couldn’t tell at first but noticed a long scar on the front pocket after a closer look. Since it’s coldbrew, it’s not very noticeable
So beautiful😢
Is this the small or the large tote?
