      Hope you enjoy it. Check all your nuts and bolts and tighten them up. Also check where the exhaust connects to the engine. Mine was missing the nuts on it. The bolts were there though.

    I bought an used 50cc Chinese scooter in the past (about 15 years ago) and one of the things I did at the time was replace all fasteners and used some locktite for the exhaust and lock washers on many parts at the time as well so they wouldn't vibrate loose, the previous owner mentioned them vibrating off but I noticed he didn't take the precaution I did and will if I ever buy another Chinese bike again. Btw it held up very well but the plastic body panels didn't, still it was one of the best $300 investments I made at the time as I had the thing for 5+ years putting about 20k miles on it as a daily driver for work at the time during good weather.

    Thanks for the updated review for your scooter. Not a lot of long term reviews on these yet and I’ve been thinking about getting one. How’s the distance between your knees and the handlebars? I’m 6’1 and my last concern before I commit is how cramped I’d be on it.

    • @TheOutdoorExperience
      @TheOutdoorExperience  7 месяцев назад +3

      I’m 5’9” and I sit halfway back on the passenger seat. If I sat where I’m suppose to, I feel cramped but still have room between my knees and handlebars. Not sure how it would work for 6’1” though.

    What do you think about everything on the back being non-reflective? I have one and the side bags and the top luggage are non-reflective there's nothing reflective on the back of that bike for anybody to see you. Not to mention the brake light is weak very weak. I've ordered lots of reflective tape. And I got a break free light for my helmet. That should help.

    • @TheOutdoorExperience
      @TheOutdoorExperience  6 месяцев назад +1

      The side boxes and trunk do have reflective plastic on them. This setup here during the day is ok. I DoorDash at night so my delivery bag is highly reflective. I have never ridden at night with just the rack only.

    got my deluxe coming from Arlington on Monday.
    I ordered “assembled” too. What did u have to do besides attach mirrors and add gas?
    Did u have to add oil, put in spark plugs etc? Or was it ready to roll after mirrors and gas?

    • @TheOutdoorExperience
      @TheOutdoorExperience  7 месяцев назад +2

      Just the mirrors, trunk, side luggage boxes, and gas. I did the first engine oil and gear oil change at 300 miles as recommended. I did the engine oil again at 500 miles because I’m gonna do it every 500 miles after that and the gear oil every 1k miles.

    Thanks for the review. I look forward to watching the 2000 mile review. I've got to search Amazon for the rear rack of your scooter. I was thinking about using one of my oven racks when I get my scooter, but I'm not sure if it can handle 50 or 60 lbs of weight, it might bend. When you say the top speed is 55 mph, is that GPS verified?

    • @TheOutdoorExperience
      @TheOutdoorExperience  6 месяцев назад

      I tested it with a phone app. It seemed to be 1 off. The scooter would say 40 and the app would say 39. Same at other speeds.

    Do you know what the difference is between the tank pro and the tank deluxe? I cant seem to find any information im trying to decide which one to get the pro or the deluxe. The pro looks like the normal one idk what the pro stands for and the deluxe has the extra storage.

    • @TheOutdoorExperience
      @TheOutdoorExperience  3 месяца назад +2

      They may have just changed the name of the standard. I believe they upgraded the standard tires to 13 inch. It use to be 12 inch tires. Maybe they still have a standard version with the 12 inch tires, pro would be 13 inch, and then deluxe with 13 inch tires and the added storage.

    • @lt5324
      @lt5324 Месяц назад +1

      I just bought the pro version, I noticed the lights are different in the front from the deluxe version. There are extra lights on the pro version as well as 13 inch tires, but however, the deluxe comes with the luggage. The pro version does not. I was wanting to ask, if anyone might know how to change the bulbs in the front signal lights. They are red and that’s not legal here in Missouri and from what I can tell, there’s no screw to take those bugs out of the front signal lights.

    • @TheOutdoorExperience
      @TheOutdoorExperience  Месяц назад

    Got this exact moped I have a question did you figure out the rubbing issue I just bought one second hand with only 500miles and everytime a hit a bump there’s like a metal sound (kack) sounds like it’s scraping the floor but I have checked and there’s not a single scratch and when I stand up and sit back down it does it again there’s like something hitting and sometimes I hear the plastic rubbing too

    • @TheOutdoorExperience
      @TheOutdoorExperience  5 месяцев назад

      @@David168-23 I thought it was the skid plate too at first but no scratches. I haven’t gotten around to figuring it out yet. I’m really wondering if it’s the rear fender. There is a bar under where the trunk goes and I’m wondering if it’s hitting the fender into the tire on dips.

      I DoorDash a lot so I just keep this setup with the rack and my delivery bag on. If I wanted to, I could still get the side boxes on without taking the rack off. I also rigged up the trunk base to be able to bolt on top of the rack so I can use the trunk too. Main thing is that the rack stays on because I got it in the perfect spot lol.
