It's honestly enjoyable watching all that sanding and fairing. There's something therapeutic about the honest time it takes to do it right. If anything, your channel shows the rest of us that patience can be its own reward. Thanks for this spectacularly wholesome view of your wonderful family!

You are the bob ross of sailing yacht refitting. Craftsmanship, your soothing voice and the whole attitude are very similar. And that is a compliment. Re Linh, I think she is the perfect fit for you and vice versa. I also admire her cooking abilities. And she makes a real coffee. She has to be a good wife -:)....

Teal, I've learned more about fiberglass , electrical and plumbing work on your channel than I ever learned on my own or another channel. I now feel certain that I could tackle some of the projects that I would have hired a professional to do previously. I been boat shopping now for over two years and I can now look past most of the cosmetic issues that before would would disqualified a catamaran. It will be a sad day when your boat is completely redone and these major projects will be less frequent. "Good job!"

The stories are oddly captivating and I can’t stop watching. I have never sail or know anything about boating, but just watching your work I feel I am learning a lot!
Thicken epoxy, fairing, fiddle, Nida core, hauling out, glassing, the renaming ritual, etc
Thank you for sharing your adventure with us.

Great job you guys....You are awesome. If all the kids in America were as sweet as your daughter, America would be a really great place to live. You and your wife should be congratulated on the wonderful job you have done with her. You call Emma to grab you tools and she drops everything and with a smile on her face grabs the tools for you. Awesome. I enjoy your projects every time. Keep up the good work. Your attention to detail is off the chart. I am the same way.

There is no doubt in my mind that your channel will be up there with the other “top sailing” channels in no time. Keep up the good work. All the hard work editing, planning out your episodes/projects, all are paying dividends. If I could give a mini suggestion to help? I know you guys have done separate videos when it comes to cooking. My suggestion would be after watching this last one, to incorporate her wonderful cooking slipped into the episodes. I was super interested in the coffee grinder (never seen that kind before) and based off of other shows I feel it may open up your viewing audience. Again just a suggestion, you guys do awesome and I wait patiently for each episode drop on the notifications. Great job to the whole fam!

Thanks Eric! We appreciate your suggestion and were thinking in the same line as you so stay tuned in for more cooking in our videos! Our coffee grinder works awesome and we will be revamping our website soon to update you with the products we use and love. We do a lot of research on them before making the purchase. Simple, well constructed and affordable. Cheers!

Goodness .... Captain Teal .... I can assure you that most of us are definitely humbled by your dedication, skill and attention to detail. Absolutely fantastic !!! You should be a consultant for some boat makers (Nordhavn, Amel, Hallberg-Rassy, Hinckley, Bertram, etc) - your attention to detail, ingenuity, creativity could definitely be used by any /all of them. Your boat will definitely be incredibly fine and well built when you are done with it... we can see that by how / what you are doing !! 🥇🙏

Thanks for all the nidacore and fiberglass tutorials. Your work was the main inspiration for re-working a big chunk of my boat with it. Nearly everything I've done has been copying your techniques with the exception of filling in the open cells in the nidacore where the edge of it shows. I found that filling in all the open cells with fairing compound adds a lot of weight to the part. In the case of small parts, the fairing doubles the weight of the panel. What I've started doing is laying some chopped strand mat over the open cells instead. Resin only glues it in place at the edges where it meets the glass on the top and bottom of the panel. I usually have to go along and flow resin into a few little gaps where it didn't stick to the top and bottom afterward, but the panel winds up being a lot lighter.

Coming together really nicely. You need to be a bit of a contortionist to get into some of these tight spaces. Lucky for you, your wife and daughter come in sizes small and extra small to send them down the hatch. Had a good laugh. I am with you brother about being sore for 3 days. I am a mechanic and at 49 yrs old it does not get easier

Are there any plans for access and/or use for the enclosed space underneath the installed platform? Would a waterproof access hatch be prudent for safety inspections, maintenance, and/or repair? I agree with the other comments about us being humbled and grateful to you and your family for allowing us to share in and feel a part of the experience. With appreciation for the entire family, thank you to each and everyone.

Thanks Jack, I am able to access that area from inside the engine compartment but will be installing a deck plate in the bulkhead face to reach the back side of some of the steering hardware. Either one will work for a nice inspection point.

Well, sadly, my binge is over - I have just caught up! Teel, while I was looking at the diesel heat installation, I could not help but think that you and I are probably two of the most anal retentive craftsmen in the world. Most people would have completed the install in two days - but you and I have to partially install, remove, reinstall, add one bracket, remove 5 items, reinstall, etc, etc, etc.until we have achieved as close to perfection as possible. It is truly satisfying to find out that I'm not the only insane craftsman out there. MY HAT IS OFF TO YOU!! I am really looking forward to the next videos.

Hi, love the vids, very neat and tidy worker, good eye for detail that can make or break a good job well done, could I just suggest one thing and I may be a little premature in the way you organise your work load but I notice you haven't put hand rails on the steps as yet no doubt there is a reason but I can see a wave or even a boat swell could flip someone off them.
The boat is looking superb and I am very impressed with your workmanship not forgetting of course the great help you have at hand priceless.

Great video! I learn a lot in these videos. I love seeing how the boat is turning out. I showed my dad how your boat has changed from the 1993 style to your style. He thought you where a great carpenter. One day when I get my sailboat I would love to do projects like this. I think sailing will be great for me. Because when I was a toddler I was into doing carpenter work I had a fisher price tool kits. I love the water, the ocean, and marine life. I just have a disability because I had two strokes when I was a kid. I do not want my disability to not stop me from doing my dream. After I saw Delos. I got really inspired so I got a bunch of sailing channels I’m learning a lot.
The other day I was looking at doing a model train set. The N scale train set is great for small spaces. I thought you and your daughter should get a model train set and put it in the salon where the plants are. That can be a fun projects I thought you cold do together.
When you said your thought you where bob ross painting a picture I was thinking you can paint some happy little clouds and happy little trees. 😃

We enjoy watching your videos and are familiar with where you are moored. You obviously measure twice (probably more) before cutting ! Amazing detail, fit and finish. My only concern is are you bedding in the thru hull fastenings etc. On your heater exhaust did you use High Temp RTV ? For everything else
4200 is very good, never 5200 unless you want it permanent, and never silicone if you ever want to paint.
