  • Corey Jacobsen is in the backcountry in search of giant elk shed antlers, along with good friend Tyler Crockett ( @Pure Elevation Productions ) and their boys, Isaac and Colt, and cameraman John. Part 2 continues with more elk sheds, and concludes with packs loaded down for the long, brutal hike out.

    Your boy's growing up. I'm somewhat envious of your time in the mountains with your family. Good for you though. Spend time with them and raise'm right.

    What a great way to spend a couple days in a beautiful place. The best exercise you can get and the fun of a hunt for tiny brown needles in huge haystacks!

    Awesome shed Hunting adventure. The Wife, Son and I are planning our first trip this Friday. But even if we dont find a single antler....we always enjoy time together in the timber.

    Awesome trip. Looks like lots of fun and a little more relaxed time compared to hunting when the antlers are still attached.

    So, the elk knocks his antler off. Looks down at it. Says “So that’s what it looks like...”

    Nice work? Is early spring the best time to get sheds?

    • @ericanonymous7859
      @ericanonymous7859 2 года назад

      Hey man. A PT I work with is a big fan of yours.
      Yes, spring is when they drop their antlers. Fresh antlers on the ground but also lots of shed hunters.

    So what do you do with all of the sheds you find?

  • @45auto

    It was odd not seeing Donnie. I'm guessing he said no to hiking all day and then lugging out 50+ pounds of inedible antler. 🙂
