I pay an 8.75% sales tax on everything that I buy and all of us pay a 10% Boost Tax (Merchants call it a Shrinkage Markup) to cover what the Homeless and Drug Addicts Shoplift. I didn't get where I'm at by being Lucky. I busted my Ass turning Shit to Gold just like everyone else did. I really get sick and tired of listening to people reduce Successful Choices to Luck. Good choices have good outcomes and bad choices have bad outcomes. The better the choice the more it cost and the more it hurt initially. I served during the Vietnam War and I went to Community College on the GI Bill and I never looked back. I dealt properly with the real world as bad as it was and I don't use drugs and I've never been to Prison. All things are possible if you're willing to work 60-80 hours a week for 50 years, doing something that you don't enjoy and following the rules. I grew up in terrible conditions and abject poverty. My Mother was a Paranoid Schizophrenic and my Father was an Absent Alcoholic and I joined the Military after graduating from High School. I served during the Vietnam War and I went to Community College on the GI Bill and I never looked back. I dealt properly with the real world as bad as it was and I don't use drugs and I've never been to Prison. All things are possible if you're willing to work 60-80 hours a week for 50 years, doing something that you don't enjoy and following the rules. There are those who will laugh at me for wasting my life but I'm not Homeless and I've never been to Prison. I'm Happy and I'm a successfully Retired Homeowner. I'm having the time of my life. Have you seen what the stock market did in 2019. Simply Amazing!!!!!

Its not the american governments responsibility to support adult children who'd rather snort fentanyl every day and sleep in alleys instead of support their children & sustain a job. This guy makes the choice every night to lay his head down in some pissy alley instead of tucking his sons & daughters into their beds because he values drugs more than anything else life could offer. These people are mentally ill, no government or good wishes or hollow prayers will fix that.
