Been with you for years, I say thank you, I went searching for someone my age as the young ones just didn’t understand the changes in our skin, our bodies, our thoughts, oh the times I went searching for the sunglasses, the readers, the swim cover up, now I still tune in just to see what the words from someone my age (almost 78 Oct) is up to. Many more healthy, happy, kind years. Just an add on, it’s not all about the make up, the wrinkles, the body image, it’s about the days, challenging the bad days, enjoying a good one.

Thank you Patti!! My Mom is 79. During Covid, she went to a memory care home… it happened within a matter of months. I visit her every week. She was always big on skin care and make up. She’s beautiful even now… one of the girls there puts on her makeup before we visit. She was my best friend, and I miss her so much!! You remind me of her in so many ways. She is in a wheelchair now… and we have limited access to her because of the CV. She still knows who I am… but, so much of the person she was is lost to us now. I just wanted ro say thank you for your videos… it’s like a small reminder of some of the times we spent watching your videos, and I appreciate them. 💕.
Happy Birthday Patti! Patti, I have to share a nail secret with you and maybe you will find it as helpful as I did. I, like you, could not keep polish on my nails for more than a day before it would chip. For years and years pre-pandemic, I had my bi-monthly gel manicure with gel polish, and it was wonderful. Polish never budged. During pandemic, of course, I stopped and began to do my own nails. Could not keep polish on no matter what I did. I did use the Kiss nails for a while and loved them, but they seemed to weaken my nails even more. A few weeks ago, I tried a bottle of OPI Infinite Shine Polish and bought the Infinite Shine Primer and Top Coat. WELL - my polish stayed on as if I had a gel manicure. Couldn't believe it!! So, I tried using the Primer and Top Coat with just a normal nail polish and same result! I have since tried several different polishes but using the Infinite Shine Primer and Top Coat - it must be magic because my polish (no matter what flavor or brand) stays on until I remove it. Sorry this is so long, but had to share because it's been over a year since I've been able to keep polish on, and now I feel like I've just had a gel manicure. If you try it, I would be anxious to hear your results. Again, Happy B'day!!
I just received both of these from my girlfriend she is a stylist I was fortunate to get the OPI is so expensive in Canada. I have the nail strengthener as well it awesome.

I know how you feel looking back at ourselves. We see the years creeping into our faces and think" I still feel like me on the inside". All of a sudden the outside doesn't match the inside. But it is the trade off we sacrifice for still being here. My favorite saying is "Do not regret growing old... It is a privilege denied to many" So we need to embrace the changes . I'm a bit younger than you, but admire your sweet spirit, your easygoing chats, and that you have remained true to yourself. It is not a small thing to find someone who is honest about their feelings, on aging, cosmetic enhancements, and the desire to remain authentic in an arena that judges harshly. My goodness! This is so ironic. I know this is an older vid but I work in healthcare and we all know that of course I’ve been working like never before. Ok back to my point. I’m binge watching this beauty and I had my yearly female check up the other day and my doc was raving about an all plant based diet and how it can totally change how we feel, look, and our immunity. This allows me to enjoy life to the fullest......its the best time of my life My body has changed so much but I found a way to work with it My nails I keep clear or use very pale colors with just a hint of color. I wear my hair up and purchased beautiful hair accessories. I have a capsuel, mix and match wardrobe. I feel wonderful. I have a beauty and healthy exercise routine. It doesn't change...I just update and adapt it. For me....I appreciate the changes. It works for me. Everyone is different. Enjoy life....you can make it beautiful. And it will be beautuful. That does not include: 6 handbags 4 belts Shoes/boots only 8 pair Lingerie...slips/cami's 6 Undergarments 8 bras 8 underpants Scarves 4 Hats 4 Coats 2 plus a jacket Pjs 5 12 spring/summer tops 12 fall/winter tops 3 pair of jeans indigo, stonewashed, and white. 1 navy capri's 2 pair linen pants 4 maxi dresses 2 just bow the knee skirts 1 skirt just above my knee 1 maxi skirt 1 skirt just below my knee 2 blazers 2 button front sweaters I think that's 43 I have pretty good clothing and I only replace an item when something get too worn I used to have so much and I didn't wear half of it. Everyone finds there own number of pieces they are comfortable with. You can Google capsuel wardrobe and get a lot of good ideas. Hope you get to the place where you want to be🙂

It's all about quality of life. It's defnitely not how you look but more about how you feel and your attitude to life. happy birthday girl! my bday is in a few days as well :) also about 💅 nails ... just use glitter polish... my grandma is 80 and has same issue u have and she now lives for glitter polish in different shade... it's a simple easy way to amp up your look but it's fool proof ... she likes rose gold glitter in a clear base and dusty rose glitter in a translucent base and or a multi colour glitter .... it's easy to do and it isn't as obvious when it may chip a little... my grandma aka Nantra is my best friend and it's beyond crazy her bday is August 28 and mine is July 28 .... lol anyway much luv girly and Have A great blessed birthday 🎂

I have since tried several different polishes but using the Infinite Shine Primer and Top Coat - it must be magic because my polish (no matter what flavor or brand) stays on until I remove it. Sorry this is so long, but had to share because it's been over a year since I've been able to keep polish on, and now I feel like I've just had a gel manicure. If you try it, I would be anxious to hear your results. Again, Happy B'day!!

I know how you feel looking back at ourselves. We see the years creeping into our faces and think" I still feel like me on the inside". All of a sudden the outside doesn't match the inside. But it is the trade off we sacrifice for still being here. My favorite saying is "Do not regret growing old... It is a privilege denied to many" So we need to embrace the changes . My goodness! This is so ironic. I know this is an older vid but I work in healthcare and we all know that of course I’ve been working like never before. Ok back to my point. I’m binge watching this beauty and I had my yearly female check up the other day and my doc was raving about an all plant based diet and how it can totally change how we feel, look, and our immunity. My body has changed so much but I found a way to work with it
My nails I keep clear or use very pale colors with just a hint of color.
I wear my hair up and purchased beautiful hair accessories.
I have a capsuel, mix and match wardrobe.
I feel wonderful. I have a beauty and healthy exercise routine. It doesn't change...I just update and adapt it.
For me....I appreciate the changes.
It works for me. Everyone is different.
Enjoy life....you can make it beautiful.

I have pretty good clothing and I only replace an item when something get too worn
I used to have so much and I didn't wear half of it.
Everyone finds there own number of pieces they are comfortable with.
You can Google capsuel wardrobe and get a lot of good ideas.

happy birthday girl! my bday is in a few days as well :) also about 💅 nails ... just use glitter polish... my grandma is 80 and has same issue u have and she now lives for glitter polish in different shade... it's a simple easy way to amp up your look but it's fool proof ... she likes rose gold glitter in a clear base and dusty rose glitter in a translucent base and or a multi colour glitter .... it's easy to do and it isn't as obvious when it may chip a little... my grandma aka Nantra is my best friend and it's beyond crazy her bday is August 28 and mine is July 28 .... lol anyway much luv girly and Have A great blessed birthday 🎂
