Floatin V16

- Seeing Ryuichi's first ascent and Takeuchi's and Nomura's repeated attempts, it was an impressive move that I wanted to touch even if I couldn't climb it. At the same time, I was aware of the difficulty of the move even before trying it. I was not able to stop the first move and lost the first three days of my first attempt.
A year later, I tried again and found that the rock conditions were perfect, so I was able to make the first move. Since it was a long way to Mizugaki, I decided to make a long rest to connect with the start of the climb. I was able to concentrate surprisingly well and topped out on that attempt. I felt like I was just barely floating.
Floatin is one of the coolest boulders I have ever seen, can't believe both you and flo sent it right after each other.
i love the way floatin always looks like a smileyface menacingly staring at the climber
I can't unsee it now !
@@ZwittRion you're welcome
I ruptured every single A2 just from watching this video
This is the single coolest boulder ever, huge props for the send!
This is art.
Such a beautiful boulder, one of the purest, most badass lines I've seen.
Such crazy beta. Can imagine ever thinking of that solution. So cool.
prettiest boulder
Hi Lau
what an insanely cool boulder
I hate how people commit genocide and are so rude.

Awesome. Such cool beta how you have to go back and forth between those holds. Reminds me of a route I found on a tiny crag near where I grew up. Had to put right hand on a little nubbin, then reach left hand up to a bigger crimp above, match the crimp then move the left hand back down to the nubbin in order to get foot up to the next hold. Probably only V4 like but proper good fun 🤣
That reminds me, I'll have to go back and climb it again. Haven't been in years!
That Rose Move is just wild to me. even a v8 rose on the Kilter @50 requires one to be pretty strong but this is just another level beyond that.
1:50 this hurt my shoulder just from watching 😱😱
beastttt
That was just absolutely beautiful. Boulder and send
The crashpad setup had me worried the entire video. If he fell with a slight bit of backwards momentum while topping out he wouldn't have landed on a pad. And even when landing on pads, you still see him having more momentum and stumbling a bit. Mad respect for sending under those conditions!
Amazing project, sick moves, super mega cool!
That small やったー, I would have absolutely screamed my lung out.
Sensational! Such a beautiful 'Rose' move :)
Holy cow that looks thin thin thin! Well done!
congratulations
Such a crazy sequence.

What a wild and amazing boulder! And in such beautiful surroundings! Congrats on the send 👍🏻👍🏻 Like others, I wonder about the possibility of a sit start 🤔
Stunning!

One of the hardest in the world!!!

Congrats dude!
*Floatin simulator incoming*

Is there sit start potential here? V17?
Very nice 💯
wow awesome
Hell yeah

beautiful work my friend
God set a good one
insane

线路设计很经典
Does it count skipping the floating start? Ryuichi used no feet to start.
A ladder 🪜
What pants are those? Looks fly
wowwww
v3 at my gym
this is as close to climbing on a flat ceiling as a human can get... so unreal haha!
V4 in my woods
Hey guys look at this funny person with this original meme
Sometime I feel high grade are finger and core strength… like without it , it doesn’t matter how skillful you are , gotta have to hold your weight within 4-6 fingers tips and stabilize before you land a foothold … Impressive ..
That's wrong, though
@@walterlotte4215at the highest level it absolutely is true, no amount of skill is gonna let you do Burden if you aren’t strong enough to pull on the holds
@@Arithmophobia even at low levels, if you can't hold on, then you can't possibly do it. strength is often underrated somehow.
@@walterlotte4215 Sorry but Strength will always go before skill. How are you going to hold a small crimp with 3 fingers and not call that strength? There's no technique that can make that move any easier besides having trained your fingers and being strong. People who think they can just float from edge to edge with just skill alone are misleading other climbers.
I honestly can't tell if your comment was trolling or not, but giving no substantial evidence that skill > strength argument is true than please enlighten me.
Skill is how you compensate for your physical limitations and how you make the most of your strength
Reminds me of Burden of Dreams
Ooo Yeasss X° Lolll
Which climbing shoes where you using?
Those are Instinct VSRs
almost certainly VSRs
1年の間に祠巡って証集めたんやろな

That' basically a ladder tbh
