I just thought about all of Shockwave's modes over the years and realized he's gone through enough to get a six changer toy. Robot mode, space ship mode, tank mode, satellite mode, crawler mode, and gun mode!
I've followed this channel off and on for years. (3rd party masterpiece and masterpiece specifically) It amazes me that you can still be so professional about what you do. Hell, I'm not even a real collector, I just own pieces that I missed in childhood or were made better since then. My collection is tiny, it means something to me. Your videos are important for everyone including me. Thank you. Your message is also important and it always has been.
Well since it is just a redeco of an existing mold, it is a good thing it’s BAF part is actually an optional arm for the figure. It is just a mechanical left arm to replace the human one in case you want his arms to be symmetrical.
@@Alvincao65 when looking at both official images and in hand images I've noticed the hip skirts on most or at least some of them are more square like pockets or batman's utility belt
Shockwave's alt. mode looks like those Decepticon marauder tanks & the Autobot enforcer tanks that were use as vehicles for the soldiers in "Transformers: Fall Of Cybertron" video game.
Ok having seen his on screen appearance, they definitely shouldve made an original mold That being said I do like this color scheme. Reminds me of Shockblast

It's very rare that I see emgo reviewing a repaint but I guess it's cause no one has done a review on this toy, emgo was like "fine i'll do it myself".
Anybody else notice his chest (in alt mode) looks like a face? Con symbol as a nose, two eyes and the grill underneath is a dopey grin! Makes his alt mode even more adorable 😂
Grabbed this guy at Ross's discount shelf for $5 and picked him up, not knowing anything about Cyberverse or Earthspark. Needless to say I was very disappointed in his alt mode. In robot mode, however, he looks nice and he's my first Shockwave so I think I'll keep him.
I had suspected I would be the same or a similar mold to the cyberverse shockwave and in my opinion I think they could come up with a better alt mode for him, but that is my opinion not anybody else’s.
I can only dream to be as half as good of the Tony reviewer you are I'm only starting the quest but thank you for inspiring me to do transformer toy reviews.
The annoying thing about the build-a-figure inclusion for me is that the arm included is NOT the arm they show Meridian gaining in the show! As far as I'm aware, he gets the arm to a bigger, bulkier Decepticon. This arm looks like it belongs to one of the Seekers we saw previously on the show

I grabbed him for 90 pln/ 21,72 dollars and I have no regrets. In Poland Transformers are rather hard to find. He is an iconic Decepticon so I just had to purchase him.
I like that color he have looks great. Robot form is great I like. But that spider tank form I am not a fan of it should be his drones troops them a form for Shockwave but I get it sense kind of fit for Shockwave troops keep him safe.
Honestly this is my biggest problem with the earspark line. It’s recycling a lot of cyberverse’s toys and while thankfully this one is one of the DECENT reuses (looking at you Starscream, using the worst cyberverse starscream mold and all), it’s still just… so so lazy on hasbros part. Like for example, Earthspark deluxe prime is awesome, but at the same time he fixes problems the cyberverse toy had but also creates new ones. Like, the gun is now REQUIRED to be in place in truck mode or his legs just flop around. A clever idea, but an poorly executed one.
We made the earthspark as close as we could to the cyberverse in the show......oh I know cheap repaint! Lol I hope they don't do that with the grimlock
This is just shameful, disrespectful of the scientifically Xenophobic badass from the show, I really loved his design in the show but this really just fails it. The alt mode especially a huge let down and I hate his stupid angry eyebrow, it looks like something Whirl would do to him while he was sleeping to be annoying. I’d of loved to have his grapple arm with a string so he can grab the “abominations” and use his immobiliser

I had a feeling this was a repaint. But it's Shockwave, my fav bad guy. I got Twitch also because a original new character...dare I say why not.
I dig the color scheme. That Chest piece is a little scary with how tight it is, though. I can see that snapping. That aside I like him! 👍

Wish Siege Shockwave had the cannon accessory thing. I like being able to have Shockwave with two hands or with the cannon on the right arm.
I put the Legacy version in his hand. It’s only logical. He already has many cannon accessories.

What don't like is how the hose attaches to the cannon, leaving a big hole on top of it.
If you want accuracy to the Cyberverse cartoon this mold was made for, the hose is plenty long enough to wrap around and plug in there

I legit took the arm cannon off and the arm immediately fell off and it won’t come back on
