    That is excessively high for esthetician I see the average weight can go as low as two thousand and I can see maybe thirteen thousand and some change but I would never pay for esthetician anyting over 14,000 Max you might as well have taken up cosmetology where you can do everything. But then again the choice is yours I think it's just over excessive especially nowadays when you don't even come out making that kind of money. Lot of these schools are so greed-stricken. And yet they're giving you super advance in many states they're not but I do hope you will get instructors/it one other skill in beauty weather is manicuring or barbering that's when you were really see the money 💰💰💰🎉💯‼️. Happy wonderful year of the rabbit 2023!!🧧🐇🧧🎎🐇🎎💎❄️💎

    Did you already know makeup? Or was this something you pursued after school? In school they do not go into detail with makeup and I am very interested in learning more.

      I knew makeup for about 7 years prior! Esthetics school definitely doesn’t go over makeup enough!

    I am applying to start this August but the only thing holding me is the student loan debt I will have.

    I would like to work with acne prone skin and on the other end of the spectrum, I would like to work with mature skin also. What avenue is that? Is that the medical route?

    • @ashleyhirsig
      @ashleyhirsig  11 месяцев назад

      It could be the medical route depending on the type of treatments you’d like to preform (lasers, peels, microneedling) to get results but it could also very well be things you could do in the treatment room with less invasive treatments as well!

    Thank you for being honest I know this is 2 years old I think if you're going to 17000 you should have went for cosmetology or barbering license I would never pay that kind of money for institution. When you look at depending on the state of course you're right if you are not being taught eyelash of every curl and size laser hair removal,😢😢 when you look at Pell Grant and they're only going to cover no more than 6,000 of it you're stuck with about twelve thousand in a student loan no thank you I can see you taking on a loan if it was for cosmetology or barbering. But I hope you go back and get your instructors license that's where the money is keep up the great work 💯🆒🥰😉😎💯‼️

      I actually was taught the medical side of esthetics, I just have to work at a med spa under a doctor. I believe esthetician school is just as worth it as cosmetology and barbering but to each their own! I live in a very expensive state/city so the pricing doesn’t surprise me.

    • @L.Sanchez707
      @L.Sanchez707 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@ashleyhirsig I agree that if you live in a very expensive state that discos wouldn't be the norm in my state Aveda would charge 12 to 13 thousand dollars. At the same time I also say cosmetologist and Barbara's make far more money per day per week what an esthetician we'll never be able to make less be clear because when you dealing with hair you are able to do both the skin hair and nails so you're able to market more of yourself. Making money per day. Especially when you are doing hair weaves coloring people pay more for extensions added in the hair and so that's where your money really comes in at. But you off to a good point if you taught it on a medical part I hope that you will be doing more videos that speaks to the volume of that.
