That's litteraly me in the beguinning as well, yet i still have this time starting at an empty file without any idea of what to code... Note: It only happens when i'm worried about something like extremaly worried
when i started to watch this channel it was interesting first but now your videos just repeating each other. allmost all of your videos are an other version of couple month earliers
It’s because no matter how many times I say the same things, people still have the same problems & ask the same questions.
Because his career has been morphed into "content creation" than "development". You become a "salesman", and what do salespeople do? Shovel the same thing over and over again.

What exactly do you spend that long coding though? I’m pretty new to the world of programming, but know how to code relatively well. I simply stopped because I don’t know what I want to code? Which sucks because I really enjoy it.

When you say you code 12 hours a day, do you mean you have 12 hours of deep flow work?? Even on a perfect day, that's a little dubious...I'd be curious to see your daily routine. I'm sure it's impressive no doubt! For me, 6 hours of deep flow work would be considered a great day to me.
No no, I mean I can do a 12-hour workday, and that includes breaks/coffee walks/lunch

@@connornguyen9177 breaks are part of the process, it helps to clear you mind to come back to code
Something that has helped me get into flow-work is doing 10 minutes of deep breathing. I do it every 2 hours of coding, I write code for a total of 8 hours. I have been more productive this way than trying to do 12 or 14 hours with intermittent interruptions or scattered concentration.

I have problems with this one.
For a beginner, entering flow is almost impossible. You are entering bang your head on the table frustration whilst you commit some petty language crime. Determination is the only way through- short 45 min workloads then a walk around & a coffee are the only way through it.
The 5 min or 15 min "ill just do that much" which then lead into a longer session is great, however, I think the best one is " I have a chance now to get some learning in. Lucky me!" rather than the "Oh gawd I just did a 4am start & 9 hours hard graft, I just want to die in the corner",
My big fight at the mo is against wine- when my body hurts & I know that I need to code to move ahead, the fight is not to do that 5 mins, its to not open a bottle & veg out!

No, most companies are 9-5. I am a CTO at a startup hence I need to work more while we are early stage
