agree with Robert Carsen. WHY? Some of us are survivor types - objective. We rather get home again and then listen to Wagner's. And yessss to what Daniele Gatti says, simply a matter of freedom of the mind to choose to 'listen' to whatever you fancy. And of course plenty 'empty space' to jot down the music that will be on that island..... Surely Wagner would have done the same ;)
