Loved you video, but mine didn't go so smoothly at all. Like to have never gotten the arm (the one you're missing) off, then the compartment door that encloses the filter like to never came off. At some point I broke the bottom part of the "arm" that goes in that hole you pointed out, (frankly I don't think it is needed at all) I never got the door back on the filter. So I left it off until another day. If these parts have never been off, they are a bear to remove. The filter was obviously the original, it was filthy. Next is the Police SUV, I hope it is easer than this one was. Okay, it's another day. I watched serval videos. I picked up on the filter door, you merely place those two tabs in the top. then push the door. The bottom ones just snap on by themselves. Hallelujah!! finally got it put back together minus that superfluous arm that snaps into the box.....not needed.
Great video FYI for your viewers I have a 2018 and it's the same removal and install. Also to acknowledge he is right the arrows go facing down because the blower is at the bottom, if the blower were on top the arrows would face up. I just left a shop for an ac diagnostic and they of course tried to sell me this filter but I already had one in the trunk. Well they put the original back in upside down and they also took the glove box off without unhooking plastic strut that you are missing and it became two parts smh good thing I was able to put it back together. It's basically a plunger with a female and male end and just like the inside of a syringe it has a rubber seal that holds enough air to make it act as a strut keeping the glove box from slamming down and cracking or breaking the part on the dash that keeps the glove box from opening all the way to the floor. The little strut has to o rings that keep the male and female pieces from coming apart when it's extended all the way but with a mechanic that doesn't know what he or she is doing and doesn't unhook it before removing the entire box with enough pull that little plastic strut mechanism will come apart.
Fantastic tutorial!
I was lost after taking the glovebox loose. Thank you so much!
It wasn't too bad, thanks for making that even easier! My air filter was about as dirty as your air filter. It was due!
Thank you so very much !!
Thank you. Nice and easy.
Thank you for all the details and the great lighting! This video helped me out of all the ones I looked at
Keep it simple , thanks 😊
Nice & easy! Thanks for the simple but descriptive video sir.

Perfect! Straight to the point, helped with mine
Thank you very much. I thought the bottoms had a latch to push or pull and not a total slide down.
I bought the engine filter 🤦🏽♂️ I’m like why isn’t this fitting
