I thought BR Woods had a distinct stinky feet smell on cold especially on the top. Very gross. I warmed it & for the first few minutes I got that note but once the cubes completely melted I couldn’t smell it anymore. It was quite nice! Actually my favourite. Now I’ve only warmed 3 cubes I will try the rest of the bar to see what happens. I think you might be on to something with your theory about batches being different. My bar smelled like two different recipes top & bottom. Like they didn’t stir it enough. I have rotten luck with Hostas too. They did poorly in my shady spots but near my pond they grow well but then the scorching heat comes mid summer & even in the shade they dry up. I plant petunias - large white ones - I put them in pots. They’re easy to manage & quite hardy. I have lots of perennials planted in my flower beds.
Petunias are great - don’t mind any weather conditions and are hard to kill LOL Glad I’m not the only one that struggles with hostas. Everyone always says they’re a super easy one, but not in my yard! 😂
You do such a great job describing all the scents. I have started letting my Scentsy bars cure for a bit and they seem to perform pretty well after sitting for a bit. I just placed my first Teddy Bees order excited to try her wax.
For gardening, I love double anything: double begonias, double petunias, double roses. I also love snapdragons, lantana, and the fluffy dahlia varieties! For perennials, I’ve got hostas, rose bushes, ferns, and Annabelle hydrangeas. I don’t think I’ll be planting this year, but my sisters have giant gardens so I’ll definitely stop by their houses each week to pick up a fresh vase or two lol. The hydrangeas ended me last year, but I’m hopeful they will flop less as I continue to leave the dead wood to help support them (something I didn’t know for the first three years!)
Oooo I love the wood stem hydrangea varieties! I had a couple and loved them! (I say had because Ben tore them out by the roots and tore them to smithereens at some point over the winter or early spring 💀) They’re beautiful!
I am planting Lupins for the first time this year. Every year I plant petunias, sweet peas, nasturtiums and marigolds in pots or my garden beds. I also grab other things that catch my eye when I go to the greenhouse, I have had sunflowers, impatiens, portulacas, gladiolus, grass like plants, ivy, dahlias, lavender, begonias… just whatever catches my eye 😁.
DUTCH APPLE BREAD!!! I have been scouring all the resale sites picking up as many Dutch Apple Breads as I could find. I looove the deep apple scent and the way it performs in my house, even in my open layout. :)
Hi, I love your description of blackberry vanilla Woods. I just told my friend this bar smells like kid puke with cleaning solution on it. I laughed so hard when you described the bar the exact same way. I will never melt this bar! It’s awful!
If I would have known that I would love Pink Cotton I would have stocked up too. I wish there will be some in next weeks’🫰🏻flash sale. I won’t check the Scentspirations collection because I’m not a big ban of Black Raspberry Vanilla. I don’t have lots of flowers at my place since we live in an appartment. I do have containers I also like to fill them with petunias and one year I put hypoestes with them it was lovely. At my dad’s there are lots as my mom liked flowers so I garden there. Day lillies, hostas, Spring bulbs of all kinds. I also add some heliotrope because mom always said that it was my dad’s favorite, even though he never said anything to me! 😀
Watching this video in my bedroom where I’m actually melting black raspberry woods and mine actually smells really nice and medium strong in strength! Black raspberry sangria was the clear winner of the bundle though - automatic clubber 💜
Hi Robyn, We also like Forever Flannel! I have also noticed, differences in bars, same scent, totally different smell. I’ve also had that happen with vendors. Find a scent we like, order big, only to get something different. Didn’t Scentsy have an issue with a bar last spring that wasn’t mixed right? Maybe that was the color. Vanilla Waves is one I kept in my club. I will try mixing HB and GCC 🥰 Thank You Robyn!
Cranberry Muffin! That one had an issue and they repoured it - the scent wasn’t affected it just had some weird settling in it that caused discoloration!
Black Raspberry Vanilla Woods, smelled the bad note on cold, was hoping it would disappear on warm. Nope, I smelled it the same way you did. Smelled like stomach acid and what comes along with it, mixed with BRV. Had to remove jt from warmer.
My experience with Black raspberry Woods: performance was a solid medium for nearly 3 days. Scent - I like it a lot but it is similar to other bars that I have so I am not sure if I will club it yet. I reproduced the scent pretty well by mixing 2 cubes of BR vanilla with 1 cube of Hendrix in the same warmer. BR woods might have had more depth than my mix but I will try it some more when I can simply order those bars without the collection. (Btw, I ADORE Halloween Town) Thanks for your reviews!!!
My forever fall bar was not good at all but my parents was really good and I didn’t club it. I wish I smelt the good one because I would have clubbed it. Black raspberry woods reminds me of Halloween town on warm
Another great video! I always look forward to your reviews. And I do think you are correct that there is a variance in the batch with the.BRV . The bar that I received smells great and I’m a Woods person so I was very happy but the bar that a fellow Friend consultant received was not the same and your description of the bar you received made me laugh. I love it. I’m going to add sangria and linen to my club.
😂 your description of black raspberry woods! Spot on!😂 i said it smelt like nutritional yeast 🤮 i found the collection very disappointing. The fathers day collection is actually very good. You may like black tie affair. I won't purchase the other 2 bars again although they are good. Just really manly. 😅 great vid girl!
Question about washer whiffs-do you sprinkle them on top of your clothes when they are in the washer or do you sprinkle them into the washer before you put your clothes in?
I do either depending on the day. Into the drum first is probably slightly preferable so that the whiffs have slightly more time with direct contact to water to dissolve. But both work.
will you do a video of whats coming back to fall winter catalog 2024 after sfr? please
That is one of my favorite videos to do every season! I’ll have that video posted within a couple hours of receiving the info myself! 🧡

Love Luna! Ohh I’ll have to get a few bars and let them sit. Thank you!
I got a definite valerian note from br woods on cold but it was ok on warm

Should be here Thursday and I’ll try to get sniffs up as quick as I can!

ill be clubbing woods , my only top bar in the collection
This one is so polarizing I’m convinced there a batch variation! It’s certainly a love it or hate it one! I wish I got what you get!

Yay, I’m glad you got a good bar of Woods!
I agree, Sangria was the winner! I Clubbed it too!

Shoot. Yeah the odd note seems to go away for some people on warm, but it didn’t for me either. 🙁

Ohhh I wish I got Halloween Town from BR Woods! I miss Halloween Town!
@@RobynH do you have Halloween town in your club?

Very interesting that your friends bar did smell different - I suspect there are 2 versions and one is horrific and one is lovely lol😅

🤣 sawdust and puke yum!! You’re definitely not alone in that opinion from what I’ve seen on youtube.
Mint one smells like a soft sweet mint ❤
I love Dahlias!
Me too! I usually do a couple planters of them, they’re so dramatic!

I do either depending on the day. Into the drum first is probably slightly preferable so that the whiffs have slightly more time with direct contact to water to dissolve. But both work.
Hmm BR Woods sounds intriguing!!!!! lol. Not based on your description LOL. But that there may be a good variation out there.
I think there’s totally a good version of BR Woods out there, but the not-good version is ROUGH lol!
BR Woods smells like stinky cheese or feet to me. Lol 🤣
I had to take it out of my warmer pretty quickly. Lol
