Sending healing love to you and the other officers who are suffering. This is outrageous behavior from the upper management. We need change and better support for mental and physical health practices for these hardworking people
Let’s be honest, this happens all across the board in all career paths. Unfortunately, this is the reality for many of us in the U.S, we are overworked and underpaid with lack of resources.
Gee, what a surprise! Imagine someone becoming disillusioned with humanity to the point of suicide just because they signed up to daily put their lives on the line to enforce the laws of society, protect its citizens and deal with the very worst among us so that the rest of us don’t have to, only to be vilified, disrespected, threatened and demeaned by those they protect, all for a salary that is less than 1% of the local CEO’s salary who bleeds the society under the protection and security they provide. What a shock!
Imagine, if you will, a LEO commander that runs a short crew to keep hidden the fact the dept is beholden to a cartel. Just imagine how the mistakenly hired 'good cops' might feel.
@@wadestanton At first thought, that would suck! But I would really need to know more. I would need to know what “beholden” means first. Corruption can be found in any profession Im afraid. But I think what this story is representative of is the entirely misplaced vitriol cops have to face these days from the public and the toll it takes on them. Disillusionment has become an inevitable fact of life today.
@@ninadaly7639 Well, in my city, county and state the broken glass feeling is entirely placed where it belongs. The entire world, and myself in person saw what they did to the kids at Standing Rock. I was also present when the quartermaster's laptop was returned to the state agency that provided the non lethal weapons, chemical agents, flash bangs and various military supplies without making a single entry. We had law enforcement here from around the country for many months, all went home with booty not available to the average US Citizen. I could tell you more but do not want to risk being swatted again.
This is the biggest gang in LA and the only gang that wears uniforms. Those that speak out against this department face retaliation in many forms from being fired or harassed.
Wow what a intensely sad and hopeless situation. What a brave man there is something intensely wrong with our world we are working so many people to death no one can maintain good mental health with that little sleep and down time. RIP to all who took their lives you were not weak.
So glad I left the LAPD when I did. It’s nothing but negativity and the adage of we are a family is a joke. What he’s saying is the truth and you wonder why we continue to see such a negative affect on the community they serve. Becoming successful at something else besides policing is what makes me feel better with my life. These deputies that have problems need to know there are other things you can do with your life besides policing. How sad that the dept can’t support their own let alone the community as well.
My heart goes out to civilian law enforcement officers who get no support from the department. We need you. God bless your future. Thank you for speaking up.

(unless they knew something fishy which they were to have wanted to keep from coming out.., thus a motive to annul a party in their midst who knows..?? Hopefully that’s not it..!! But.., hmm!!🧐) - For outsiders .. looking in or trying to…., .. it’s harder to figure the whole thing out. But seems like it needs be ‘thought thru’ on many levels (…. hmmmm: just in case?🤨 as there seems to me a bit of some fishiness!!) -Thanks!
There’s something wrong with all of our jobs. Code of conduct and work ethics has been depleted entirely in this country. No one speaks up. I spoke up the other day at work, I work for the government too. No one backed me just thanked me for saying something. 😊😒
Help for heroes is a group in the Antelope Valley set up for just this and more. Other stations need to contact them and get this going everywhere. This is for deputy’s and their families
When my son was executed with 5 shots in the back by the L.A. police - no one cared. Now these officers are self terminating? Could it be divine intervention? I dont know if this is justice or not but i have heard thru the grapevine that others are self terminating themselves because of their crimes they have committed against the people. Maybe a hotline should be establised country-wide to give these officers a chance to admit their crimes and find more healthy ways to resolve some of their heartache. There are numerours crimes many of these officers have committed. They need a hotline so they can unburden their souls before divine intervention takes action. My three cents. Either way, karma will have its day (over and over and over - before its too late). Ever knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess. FACTS.
WHAT AN INJUSTICE FOR THIS FORMER OFFICER. TO BE PUSHED OUT OF THE DEPARTMENT FOR STANDING UP, AND ASKING FOR HELP IS WRONG... SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE NOW!!🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐🧐
Hire more deputy's. Stop asking people if they ever smoked weed or if they've ever been in a fight. Remove the age restriction, there are 45 year olds that can do the job. Focus on what matters and hire more people.
So the head of the sheriff’s department has an “ executive team”, while the cops out protecting their fellow Angelinos, get nothing huh? There’s one if the problems right there? If he was a real leader, he’d get rid of his team, and use that money to hire more cops. Period. I left Venice years ago, and haven’t been back. It’s a great place to be from, but seeing and hearing how the leaders don’t care bout crime, cause they live in gated communities, im glad I got out of that rat infested place.
The mental health of LEO’s should be a priority for any department. This isn’t just a LASD problem. It’s a nationwide problem. Untreated mental illness can lead to self medicating (pills or alcohol) and that’s frightening when you consider that they’re armed and depressed or stressed and tired. I can’t imagine what they see on a daily basis. While I may often disagree with the way that certain law enforcement agencies have handled their interactions with citizens and then hidden behind qualified immunity, I do want a healthy, safe and well trained (meaning they actually know the laws they are supposed to enforce) police department that allows the officers time off and to get help for themselves when they need it and not to hold it against them. Those two feelings can exist at the same time. Mental illness is an ongoing problem in our country and we need to do better. Especially for those who are supposed to be protecting us. I’m including the Armed Service’s in this comment. My dad is a Vietnam War Veteran and it’s been hit and miss with his VA interactions, it just depends where you live. Out here it’s been pretty good. When he lived in the south east, not so much and as yesterday was Veterans Day, I can’t think of a better time to raise this issue of mental health in those who serve to protect us here or abroad.
After 26 years and burned out with one IA complaint, I forgot to write a report on a big case which is my fault. My department told me to resign. They made it to where I couldn't get another job and was given a General Discharge. I'm more burned out now because they royally FU'/*ED me. I used to be proud of what I did. I've burned and thrown away everything I had dealing with law enforcement. Asking for help gets officers screwed and fired. F them all!!!
I’ve told them in Los Angeles that every officer in the state of California needs to know who their peers are. They still haven’t done it they don’t have a cop night out none of that so everyone all really know who their peers are so I don’t know what they can do now.

Yes Mental health is Real🙏🙏🙏
These guys find out how corrupt their department is and can't do anything about it. That's what is really happening here.
Not all of them are "suicide"
Bet. And the network is assisting the diversion.
The entirety of CALIFORNIA is in a STATE of EMERGENCY.
Sending healing love to you and the other officers who are suffering. This is outrageous behavior from the upper management. We need change and better support for mental and physical health practices for these hardworking people
This needs to change 😢
Let’s be honest, this happens all across the board in all career paths. Unfortunately, this is the reality for many of us in the U.S, we are overworked and underpaid with lack of resources.
Bless your soul and your life my brutha!!! Much love to you!!!!
Police officer is hard work, constant stress, life on the line.
They have a job nearly 1/3 as deadly as a garbage man.
Such a shame, isn't it?
In reality, the police are actually the worst amongst us.
❤
Other cities need Great officers like you. 😭😔😒
It is not a good thing when good guys die from bad leadership. The good guys need to stand together! Fight for what is right! Praying for you all. It is not only in the Sheriff dept.
Do you see anything different from a cartel? I don't.
Now do a segment on the gangs of the LASD.
They have
@@centerrightpunk link?
So incredibly sad....no one is less than. Your all so valuable. Unacceptable treatment fo what your called to do protect and serve. Heatbreaking thanks for letting the world know things must change.
we need to take better care of all our first responders they take care of us and we as a community need to take care of them. We have to do better
Something bigger is afoot! This was not a coincidence ! I’m so sorry for your loss…
Those in charge SHOULD BE HELPING , PROTECTING, HONORING , and SPEAKING OUT FOR HELP HELP HELP FOR THESE AMAZING HEROS !!!
i knew someone who committed suicide, it was because he couldn't live with what he did, he was ashamed of the abuse and injustice he caused. of the innocent lives he ruined !
Fake ass news
This man needs protection. I really hope he stays safe and gets the therapy he needs.
Thanks for reporting
My heart goes out to any and all. Just about any union job is like this in California.
LASO, and all LE agencies need help along with Firefighters too. It is a tough job. I personally in my career know 5 people on the job who have committed suicide. I now have a First Responder Therapy dog that goes to Police Departments, Fire Departments, EMS units, Comm centers to just give these personnel just a little bit of a break. Believe me it is very helpful.
Policing in America needs an overhaul. Period.
Man mental health is real
May God bless there family 🙏
Im praying for you all ! ☺️🥺🥹💔
They killed them for wistle blowing then they declared them suicide?
Sorry to hear that
Sounds like they have a recruitment problem to fill all those shifts.
No sympathy for evil
🛐Praying for you and the department brothers.
glad this guy is speaking out, 👍🏼
God bless you for coming forth
big brother clipped to their shirts, mass resignations & early retirements, smaller academy classes, and an ever non-supporting public. it's only gonna get worse bro
That's so tragic....
Why they have you working so many hours is beyond me. There is no crime going on anywhere. No, wait, I stand corrected. The only crime I see are Police Officers/Sheriff Officers/ State Troopers Violating People's Constitutional Rights ! That's really the only crimes I see.
To The Ex-Sheriff guy who came forward and spoke up. Thank you for coming forward.
Every Officer, every Public Servant, before you're issued a Badge; You swear an Oath to ALWAYS Uphold and Defend The Constitution ! Yet, I see these Officers VIOLATE The Constitution everyday.
To ALL These Officers out there:
If you're doing Traffic Stops or Checkpoints, You're in VIOLATION of The Constitution !
You have The Right to travel FREELY on State and City Highways and Streets without being molested by Government Officials, unless you've committed a crime.
Traffic Stops are NOT crimes ! You don't go to jail or prison for Traffic Stops ! Therefore ALL Traffic Stops and ALL Checkpoints are a VIOLATION of The Constitution !
Praying for our officers.
Respect!!
Keep talking an tell the truth
There’s a comment made here by the fellow
that struck me as weird: “when we ask where is so and so, we get to find out..: “oh they ate their gun yesterday (as in they committed suicide with their own weapon!!..”…..” but if the person wasn’t saying anything to any co-worker re. their feelings/thoughts ..”as though they can’t go on..!!..” - Just a thought ..but..
is it possible that there is foul play within the
staffs’ hired members..? -To say this much more……: ‘He stated they weren’t allowed to
complain’ …. sooooo did those who would get
to hear the complaints also per-say reach their own quota to the point that they would have badly reacted toward their own folks whom they had hired..? (unless they knew something fishy which they were to have wanted to keep from coming out.., thus a motive to annul a party in
their midst who knows..?? Hopefully that’s not
it..!! But.., hmm!!🧐)
- For outsiders .. looking in or trying to….,
.. it’s harder to figure the whole thing out.
But seems like it needs be ‘thought thru’ on
many levels (…. hmmmm: just in case?🤨
as there seems to me a bit of some fishiness!!)
-Thanks!
Sad...very sad
Cry me a river. I would hate to pulled over by a cop with sleeve tats.
Same. Why should I allow a person with ZERO moral fiber to tell me right from wrong?
@@Sfhakrn you would think the police would be held to higher standards. Instead of allowing a thug persona
@@jacksonlee3771 Exactly. At this point a lot of cops seem worse than the criminals. The suicide rate tells me they are also mentally unstable.
If you can't handle the job move on. There is way harder work out there.
Thank you Sorin, I appreciate your truthfulness! God bless him!🙏🇺🇸❤️
When my son was executed with 5 shots in the back by the L.A. police - no one cared.
So sad 😢
Even the cops don’t protect other cops. Let’s be for real y’all.
People need help. It is unfortunate they’re not getting it.
Keep up the pressure on the leaders to do their jobs! Seems like new leadership is needed for sure.
Don't sigh up for this job
Rest in Peace officer 🙏🙏🙏! God Bless everyone ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏!
It’s a bad sign that the head sheriff isn’t taking an interview
remember…. they just follow orders. cry me a river.
Horrible
Shows they corrupt
What did they know?
I’ve told them in Los Angeles that every officer in the state of California needs to know who their peers are. They still haven’t done it they don’t have a cop night out none of that so everyone all really know who their peers are so I don’t know what they can do now.
Nawl i c that yall not right
