He used Down B to keep the jump a little longer and reach the ledge, then he did not recover instantly, he recovered just a little late and low so yoshi would mess up his timing with his Forward Air, and then, when he was going up, he pressed down so he won't grab the ledge and kill Yoshi. Very risky considering the amount of lag that Up B has.

@@GhostbusterPalu I mean palutena doesn't have that many flashy edgeguard tools besides maybe the up smash wich two frames and maybe a deep edgeguard nair I guess ( but everyone is already sick of that move soooo, wouldnt count on it) . I guess she has a good combo game but palu mains barely do anything outside nair combos since theyre so reliable and strong. Overall, and in my opinion online or even low tourney lvl palu are fairly unimpressive
If you beat a low tier with a high tier, maybe you're good, or maybe your character is just good. If you beat a high tier with a low tier, you show that even with a weaker character you outclass your opponent. This is why people enjoy watching lower tier characters do well, because they don't just beat their opponents, *they own them.*

When I saw Greninja offstage I just KNEW Shadow Sneak and/or Substitute would be involved. These two moves make Greninja's recovery a scary thing to contest since Smash 4, and especially now that Substitute has invincibility and Shadow Sneak attacks faster.
