I watched the full video when it basically just came out. The kid's name is Kamron. He is apparently a "big" Three Days Grace fan. But when Adam Gontier walked in, the nurse I think, asked if he knew him. The kid said, "No". And she was like, "This is Adam Gontier, singer of Three Days Grace." So no, the kid did not know who he was. Which is pretty freaking sad.
What an angel to do this for such a young boy. To those being mean about the noy not reacting, I was in the Hospital a lot and after endless drugs they gave me and surgeries done, I lost emotions during it. I felt happiness or feelings but I don't know how to show the emotions.
Hmm.....the kid in the bed is texting and the kid sitting behind Adam keeps looking out the window..........do these people have any idea who that is singing his most beautiful song just for them? lol XD It's amazing how much Adam cares about his fans.
Man that kid... why does he not respect him, why does he not appreciate that? what kind of world are we living in? Adam can express his feelings only in his songs! Then why does that kid not care more about him? If i were him i would be happy as fuck! And would get a lot of motivation!
There's another video up somewhere with the whole experience, from the band traveling to the hospital and surprising the kid and everything. His condition wasn't something that would cause him to be disconnected. They even let him out later in the night for a little bit so he could go to the Three Days Grace concert that night (one that he would have otherwise missed).
and before i get any smartass remarks yes i met adam gontier hes the closest thing to a friend i ever had and its a shame he wont be in three days grace anymore

I did fight typhoid and lemme tell ya, this kid is obviously just emotionally numb. It was hard for me to express much emotion after about a week in the hospital because of all the treatments. Imagine the crap Kamron went through. I believe he really was happy seeing him....even if it didnt totally look convincing. If he wasn't impressed or not a fan, he never would've went to their concert! I feel for this kid and I'm obviously the only one open minded enough to defend him. If you're still fighting Kamron, I got your back. B) (cheesy I know, lol)
