Golden Age of Metal... They performed "XXX" on a Metal-Massacre-Sampler, that´s where I found them. Their debut was a blast, the following "Indulgence" album another masterpiece.
Man. this is some real good sound quality for RUclips. I still got my original copy that I purchased from the band back in the day. Even got to see these dudes live at Bogart's in Cincinnati. Couldn't get a TV for Nasty Ronnie, but we did have a hooter to burn with them. Speaking of burning, we were at the front of the stage and at the end of the set Curtis (drummer) blew fire. It got on my friend's arm and started burning his arm HAHA. I'll never forget Curtis leaping up from behind the kit, ready to jump down into the crowd and kick someone's ass.
@@sanfordbeeson6108 I talked to you on the phone when I was like 14 trying to set up a show with Nasty Savage and Hallow's Eve, you shut me down pretty fast when you asked me if I had the money to put down I think you said a couple grand lol I didn't know what I was doing someone gave me your phone number and I called maybe you remember
@@sanfordbeeson6108 that's no problem it was a learning experience I didn't understand that there are costs involved in the music scene with venues and travel and all that, I thought it was just one big party ha ha, I wouldn't trade those days for anything
i remember first hearing this great band on the Iron Tyrants comp, back in 84. i love all their 80s releases, but this is, to my damaged ears, their best song and probably the best version, due to its post-classic/nwobhm-influenced metal rawness. a banda like Cathedral should've covered the tune.
Someone cloned Slayer with Motley Crue and threw a young Quentin Tarrantino on the cover. Good job.Note @ Speed 1.75 this is officially a Destruction album.
I wouldn't be surprised if one influenced the other. Destruction stayed at the house of one of the member's of Nasty Savage when they came to the US for the first time.
@@ViviSectia Destruction was more black metal sounding as the germanscene was than any US band then. Even way before 1985 . If similarities it have . You have again search again to the bands before in 70's .
The almighty glory of the '80s
For a demo from 1984 this sounds fantastic.
Nasty Savage at its peak, right before the classic debut. Well crafted Metal with guts. It tears Slayer and Metallica to pieces. Excellent!
yyeah ... no
Nah this doesn't touch Show No Mercy or Hell Awaits lol still rips but don't be silly
@@pimpetigo Talkin' about real underground metal, moron. Not Sonata Arctica. Lol.
@@pimpetigo I know it well. Before you were born.

I discovered them the same way, and have loved them ever since. Great band, too bad they only recorded a few albums.

"...AS IN SEX!". That was the greatest. I remember enjoying actually being able to hear Richard's bass.
Doesn't matter if it's power metal, thrash, technical or psychedelic release... Nasty Savage always delivers! Unique & inluencial band! 🤘

I remember watching them play at Ruby's Rock and Roll Pub in Tampa. Those were the good old days..
Make metal great again !!!
I ran the door at every Nasty show growing up. It helped that my brother was the drummer.
