While I enjoy being exposed to new music and styles I'm not familiar with, I definitely love being blown away by new covers of songs I know and love. My favorite thing about you, other than your adorkable pon tendencies, is that whatever song you sing, you completely bend it to you power and it becomes YOURS. Hitomi Shimatani is one of my favorites from back in the day, and while this song might be a classic, this cover brings a vibrancy and gravity that's fresh and unique to you. It kinda felt like you were holding back your power to match the more low-key style of the song, but I LOVED those moments in the chorus where you dialed it up a little, like you were trying to tell us you could destroy us with your full strength if you so chose to lol. Isla-chamama at full power is what I love most, but I've found myself being hypnotized by the lower strength Isla because we don't get to see her all that often. If there's one request I have for the future, it would be to hear a ballad from you. I know you said you don't feel like they're your style, but I feel that's the only area left you can challenge yourself since you've nailed everything else you've done. Regardless, I loved this, so thank you once again.
