Your videos are the best. I’ve been using your techniques for about four weeks with my 8 month old boxer and he has responded incredibly.
What techniques have you found most effective? I have an 11 month old male boxer and 5 month old female boxer
I have been training my 9 year old male Australian Shepherd to go on walks without pulling using your method and it has been a joy for both of us. He doesn't pull and I didn't teach him this but he brings me his leash when I get home. Thank you so much keep up the great videos.
The valid complaint from service dog handlers is when people bring their untrained dogs into non pet friendly areas. I am a service dog handler myself - thankfully I am in Australia and the fake service dog trend is not nearly as prevalent here however it does happen. I’m sure there are people who complain about people bringing well behaved dogs into pet friendly places too - people are always going to find things to complain about - I think they have way too much time on their hands.

I was abit disappointed to see that he wasn’t actually training to be a service dog haha but I can understand why you titled the videos the way you did and the only other thing a SD would do is specific tasking and this is exactly the foundation to be building before that point.
I am actually planing on putting my dog on those carts as I have been told it’s a good prep for airplanes 😌

I just got my service dog training vest for my husky and I can’t wait to start training her at a home depot so she can be exposed to a public space with many people and noise,sounds and smells
I’m doing off leash training with my sdit as soon as our ecollar comes in the mail
We never recommend ecollar use without professional guidance and only after your dog is proficient in basic commands first. Check out Unleashed on DIYK9.com for lessons on proper use :)

i had my mutt at the vet and he gave her some sedative and a shot for pain (she was having way to much fun with the puppy). I had to run into sams club and i took her with me. they know me fairly well there and the lady kinda looked at me funny. i said im getting incontinence pads for doggy pads... 2 minutes even gonna pay with my phone. she said ok hurry up.... lol 1 guy said awww how cute.. my exact words were... no dont touch my dog and no my dog doesnt wanna pet you either... dude walked away lol funny as hell.. but true!!
There’s some businesses like the grocery store right around my house that won’t kick you out for going off leash while the same time say it’s fully OK to have the dog inside of a basket where they can’t even perform a task. WTF??? I guess they don’t mind getting a major lawsuit by somebody with a disability for not allowing access.

i go to lowes and take my mutt she is excellent but i had a lady whine about my dog who was walking by my side and her dog broke his stay to come sniff my dog.i just looked at the lady and said hey call ur dog. she called him and called him and called him,, you get the point. i looked at my dog and said lets go and she started walking and her dog followed us,, i finally picked up the other dogs leash and gave it back to the lady. i said pretty loud woah what a service dog if my dog did that shit i'd rethink my training!! lol our puppy cannot go yet last shot dec 27th YAY!!!

What brand of ecollar do you use ive been thinking of getting one but have no clue where to go or start
I have a toy Maltipoo (currently 13 weeks old/about 3.3-3.8lbs)and was wondering if you recommend e collar for toy dog breeds? I have been watching a few of your videos already, but most of the dogs you work with are big breeds, so I wanted to know if you had a chance to work with a toy breed using these methods. Thank you!
this looks exactly like Bunnings. the shop. it's not a dog's name lol..yes the Hal monitors lol.. we didn't have them but I know the sentiment. but why a prong collar? hes such a good dog. hot dogs are carcinogenic. Switch to dried liver which is nutritious. My dog is s 6.. std poodle. I will try him on such things.
Freeze-Dried Liver is DEFINITELY a terrific treat! I actually make my own, by boiling liver, cutting it into cubes, and putting it UNCOVERED in the freezer for weeks and weeks. But I don't necessarily believe hot dogs are carcinogenic. Can you post a link to that info? I'm open minded.

Prongs that are well made only put pressure that is exhibited by the handler equally around the dog’s neck. Real well made prongs have a large O-ring and front plate to keep from choking the dog, rounded pokies so it won’t hurt when it squishes. Correct gauge links also won’t pinch when fitted.
It could also be useful to keep from matting fur because it has less spots to cause friction.
I personally don’t like how this guy uses prongs he seems to, mostly, have them too low on the neck, in super severe cases it seems like he may have too big links for a dog because correction hurts the dog sometimes when it comes to not mastiff neck breeds, witch is a pretty common mistake.
If you want to see a different view of prongs I suggest Upstate Canine Academy, he has really good videos and also shows how to use martingale, slip leads, slip collars, and also has a video on how to make a slip collar yourself.

@@bellw5834 yeah I watched some dog daddy vids.. and in one he uses a prong on a dane.. I think if fit correctly is the main issue? like how do ppl know? my dog is doing good. I didnt used to train except a few tricks.. but now more on the behaviour.. he comes when off leash when there's a distraction, so I think he's becoming a very very, very, good boy. I never liked trained dogs before because I worried that they couldn't express themselves.. but now I see that if a dog can come everywhere they will be happy.

It’s commonly “sit, stay” but you could train it to be any combination of words like “crow, rates”. It isn’t the words that matter but the reinforcement after those words is what teaches the dog the actions.
Keep your animal at home. Very selfish to foist your dog on others. Home depot has a corporate policy that only allows service animals.
There's something called service animal. Some people have their dog to pick up items, open doors, pull wheel chairs or even alert for diabetic blood sugar issues, seizures and so much more. Your opinion shows you have no clue.
