I've mimicked your techniques to train my rescue corso and he is absolutely wonderful. A very capable, and VERY big boy I think he's coming up to that 140lb weight mark and he's got so much more growth ahead of him. Thank you Garrett, from Jake and Drago ❤️

I’ll always love how much you love dogs. It’s not just about training it’s about love. The “dog being hit by a car” lines shows a soft side. You love your dogs. I’ll bet you hate cycling through dogs of training to not seeing them stay at home. You are unique.

You have the best way to explain the technical stuff. Its always not about how much you know, but also how much you can share in the way where a rookie can comprehend and replicate especially in dog training. I have seen dogs come home after 3 weeks of professional training and go back to the same old stuff within weeks. Great demonstration as always and awesome work. Wish i could get my GSD trained by you.

I have bought a few courses on your homepage and they are great! Truly life savers! Sadly, I am legally not allowed to use e-collars in my country. Any recommendations how I could replicate the use case of one?
Thank you so much for your kind comment, Koray! You can work with a Herm Sprenger prong collar attached to a long line created from paracord and a strong carabiner.
Maybe see if there are any collar companies that just sell them with the vibrate and noise function? There may be companies have products without the shock aspect of the collar.
Just looked it up, there are vibrate only E-Collars! Definitely see if the legislation specifies collars with a shock function, this could be a good solution!

I was told if I haven’t had a dog before don’t buy a cane corso for my first…but I really want one is that good advice?

Uhh, I partially disagree with the past two replies. #1. I’d go further and say don’t look for the puppy yourself, tell the breeder Ty our situation. #2. There’s other factors. Do you have children? If so, how old? Are your elderly parents living with you? Is your spouse/gf/bf ok with a 100+ lbs dog? In the off chance the dog gets out of control are you physically capable of handling a dog used for Boar hunting?

Hey Jose - it's best to wait until the dog is 5 months old, and work on the basics of obedience, manners, and socialization up to that age. Our online course "Unleashed!" on diyk9.com shows how exactly to e-collar train a dog.
