- I know I haven't put out a video in a whole month despite having a lot planned, but I at least have this short video to release :)
This vid is an addition to a playlist/series I started a couple years ago, thought I'd apply it to their newest show

I love Ziggy's line on the cast recording. "I'm a volunteer counselor!"
That isn’t Ziggs, that’s what was said during the live shows, and they didn’t have Jae to play them.
Ziggy and the other cameos were added in for the proshot version, as a little easter egg. In the original run of the show, other characters replaced the cameos. Dan Reynolds was the one accused of hanging around the school selling drugs (he's a volunteer counselor!).

Ok, most of these are good, but Bryce in seventh?!?!?! Your honour she should be first
there’s so much in this song i want to point out. the choreography. the character voices while they sing. how much this shows the hatchetfield adults’ response to fear. there’s just so much here that makes me happy, i love this show.
help why am i so attracted to ziggy
my personal ranking in terms of how the character adds to the song goes like so:
1. bryce's townsperson (the VOCALS. she carried this song imo)
2. boy jerry (i'm a jon matteson stan i guess so i'm biased here lmaoo)
3. mrs. chasity (amazing vocals, amazing choreo, and she's just cute 😭)
4. dan reynolds (joeys facial expressions will never not get me. plus dan is an icon)
5. donna daggit (only lower than dan because she does leave midway but lauren slays at this choreo as always ofc)
6. officer bailey (only this low bc ACAB slash hj but yeah curt's "i'm a cop!" being missing in the pro shot is a shame bc i think that's a fun line and he delivers it well haha)
7. mayor lauter (only low bc he also leaves in the beginning but he IS an iconic part of the song, since he does kinda kickstart the whole thing)
and these last three are the cameos which are cool but lose points for no singing roles which is the only reason why they're last for me
8. ziggy (because i'm biased and i love them)
9. gerald (for the gary goldstein name drop sorta)
10. man in a hurry (he's in a hurry. i don't hate him in this but this is the only place i can put him so 😭)

Why did I think that Bryce Charles' "Townsperson" was just Detective Shapiro...... I've watched this about 10+ times, and I thought that it was just Detective Shapiro.....

I actually didn’t understand ANY of the refrencese in the song can someone please explain😭
a lot of the references come from other hatchetfield based shows (this includes their Nightmare Time shows!!)
As far as characters go:
- Dan (joey’s character) and Donna (lauren’s character) are the known news reporters of the town. They can be heard in TGWDLM when they discuss the meteor and peanuts. They’re most likely in many other Hatchetfield shows when they’re relaying the news.
- (Boy) Jerry (Jon’s character) is a reference to Nightmare time 2 Episode “Abstinence Camp” and is one of the camp leaders with his work partner “Girl Jeri” (she’s mentioned in the soundtrack version of the song)
- Gerald (Dylan’s character) is Linda’s partner from Black Friday and makes an appearance in a couple Nightmare time episodes
- Barry (Jeff’s character) is the man in the hurry referenced in a LOT of Hatchetfield shows
- Ziggs/Ziggy (Jae’s character, in the tie-dye) is a reference from Nightmare Time 2 Episode “Perky’s Buds”. They’re a coworker of Emma’s in the story and likes to smoke weed lol
- Charles (James’ character) is a reference to Nightmare Time Season 2 Episode “Yellow Jacket”.
Is there anything else you didn’t understand? I feel like most of the easter eggs are in the characters :)
