I am very grateful to be a NC A&T Graduare Class of 1997. I entered A&T as a returning student from D.C. Althoughit it was a culture shock my first two years being in Greensboro NC and at A&T, I soon learned to embrace the differences of being in a new environment and the support sand the positive energy that I was recieving at the time. NC A&T Thank You for the great experience. AGGIE PRIDE!!!!!!!
Aggie Pride. 15 of my family members and I are proud graduates of this great institution of higher learning. Our lives and those of our loved ones have been made richer and better because of A&T.🎇
This video was touching. The history of my university is rich and our roots run deep through the North Carolina community. I am proud to be a part of this legacy.
This is wonderful video documentary!! I am so proud to be a graduate of NC A&T State University (Class of 1980). My father, brother and a nephew are also graduates of this great institution.
As if I didn't have enough pride in A&T already, this video was excellent! It hits home and is a great representation of what us Aggies stand for and the things we believe in! c/o '04 AGGIE BORN, AGGIE BRED....
During the late 1980s (… 1989 to be exact) at an A&T convocation program, (while giving remarks on stage) then-Chancellor Edward B. Fort reflected upon Dr. Ron McNair (space shuttle astronaut & molecular physicist) and Rev. Jesse Jackson, Sr. (civil rights activist), 2 of the University’s many famous alumni. The loss of Dr. McNair in the tragic 1986 Challenger space shuttle disaster a few years back was still in recent memory, and Rev. Jackson’s historic runs in 1984 and 1988 for the US presidency immediately came to mind. After mentioning McNair and Jackson, Dr. Fort paused for a moment, and then said, ‘A&T, … there’s no place like it. From astronaut to president, we have them all.’ I was an A&T student in attendance at that convocation. The sentiments of Dr. Fort (still at A&T as Chancellor Emeritus) made an impression upon me, and I still remember those powerful words today (2020), as though they were said yesterday. A&T is a giant, particularly in STEM, and epitomizes the tradition of collective Black excellence via HBCUs. AGGIE Pride!
