    Ladies and gentlemen,
It is my honor to stand before you today to talk about one of the most influential scientific theories of all time: Darwinism.
Charles Darwin's theory of evolution, which he first published in his book "On the Origin of Species" in 1859, has had a profound impact on our understanding of the natural world and our place in it. Darwinism, as it is commonly known, is the idea that all species of living organisms have descended from common ancestors through a process of natural selection.
At the heart of Darwinism is the concept of adaptation. Darwin observed that in any given population of organisms, there is a wide range of individual variation. Some individuals may be better adapted to their environment than others, which gives them an advantage in terms of survival and reproduction. Over time, these advantageous traits become more common in the population as a whole, while less advantageous traits disappear. This process of natural selection is what drives evolution and leads to the development of new species.
Darwinism has been widely accepted by the scientific community as the best explanation for the diversity of life on Earth. It has been supported by a wealth of evidence from fields such as genetics, paleontology, and comparative anatomy. It has also been confirmed by numerous observations of natural selection in action, such as the evolution of antibiotic resistance in bacteria and the development of pesticide resistance in insects.
However, Darwinism has also been the subject of controversy and criticism. Some religious groups have rejected the theory because they believe it contradicts their faith. Others have questioned the validity of the evidence or the mechanisms by which natural selection operates. Nevertheless, Darwinism remains a cornerstone of modern biology and a fundamental aspect of our understanding of the natural world.
In conclusion, Darwinism is a powerful scientific theory that has had a profound impact on our understanding of the natural world. It has helped us to explain the diversity of life on Earth and our place within it. While it has been the subject of controversy and criticism, its fundamental principles have been supported by a wealth of evidence and continue to be a key area of scientific research. Thank you.

@@silveriver9It's not a prescription on how to live your life. It does however explain an awful lot about what we are doing here. Far more depressing than selfish genes is knowing that billions of humans haven't read the book or rejected it conclusions just because it hurts their feelings.

Atoms are replicators. The Large Hadron Collider LHC demonstrates this. In its high energy collisions of parent particles, its creates daughter particles. It even births new hydrogen atoms. This is science fact. So the discussion should be, does this replication allow for an inheritance of traits to be passed down the linages? The possibility cannot be ruled out, and people should find this to be extremely interesting.
The LHC replicates the environment and processes that quasars express on mass. Quasars acceleration matter to relativistic speeds, then collide matter in their accretion disks. Further more, if new matter and atoms are being forged in this process, then the jets that emerge from them and can be seen to be distributing matter out into space, are very interesting observations indeed.
Atomic physics expresses the same structural and behavioural theme as cellular biology, nucleus, shells, bonding mechanisms that build composite bodies. Atoms are highly complex interactive fine-tuned systems. These are all the hallmarks of Darwinian evolution, biology is its precedence. It fits the profile, it has the opertunity. What more could a theory want for?
How about a cosmology that explains for an interesting and complex physics? wouldn't that be nice. Well I'm pointing to it.
The universe is Darwinian. Brace yourself, science is about to undergo a revolution. Darwin's idea is said by many to be the greatest idea of all time, and they said this while knowing only a fraction of its true scope. Its Darwin's universe

E=mc2 is deceptively simple, but getting to that outcome took brilliant minds. Every equation is a simple tautology, is it not? If it were so simple, however, why did it take thousands of years to derive it? The Greeks came up with a lot excellent mathematics, but it took a Newton/Leibniz to develop the Calculus.

"selfish gene "is better because is honest and true , "immortal gene" isn't quite accurate because first of all we are quite mortal and in the future we could disappear just because the selfish gene is there .

I'm actually quite disappointed. These are all extremely intelligent people yet only two of them acknowledge that maybe hubris is what prevented humanity from theorising about evolution earlier in history. In a world where people assume animals don’t go to heaven, why on earth would you want to be one, it takes no genius to understand this conflict. What really made me disappointed however is how Richard Dawking unknowingly and inaccurately referenced Platons cave. He obviously has a flawed understanding of the philosophy. It does not conflict with the perception of evolution in any way, it simply explains how to separate the metaphysical from the physical which was essential in order to progress epistemology. Without the understanding of rational and empirical perception there would be no science to begin with.

Darwin’s theory does a damn good job on describing genetic drift; does nothing to explain the animation of life itself. The answer remains hidden…and apparent.
