Just how old? For me, I got into BlazBlue in 2017, I think it was. I got it for Christmas (so it was basically 2018...) on PS3. I remember sucking so badly... I was a Smash kid so "real" fighting games were super weird and hard. After three years of practice I'm now a decent Ragna main with a Hazama and Terumi slowly improving.
@@thelamergamer1894 damn, I haven't seen this in a hot minute. I am mainly playing PC games (osu and other games) but I heard that the FG Scene is gaining traction on the PC so that may go somewhere.
@@thelamergamer1894 I got into Blazblue around 2010-11 right when Continuum Shift was around I think. I got really addicted to Blazblue and then I started getting into more fighting games like Tekken, Smash, Street Fighter, King of Fighters, Mortal Kombat, Injustice, etc.
Same it was like 7th grade when I got this weird blazblue spin-off game for the DSi and then I eventually got into the full series when continuum shift 2 was being teased
The one that got me into the series. Although, I didn’t discover it until very late. My friend told me to get it but barely anyone was playing. BBCF released on PC shortly after I bought it and I switched to that game. Continuum shift was the one that sparked my interest in this style of fighting game, and I’m happy I tried it out. I love Blazblue. I still suck though. Lmao
So I've just seen several BlazBlue openings... HOT DAMN! THIS IS SO INTENSE AND FAST PACED! SO. MUCH. ACTION! AND IT STARS HAIR-DYED MCBURN FROM OUROBOROS? SIGN ME UP!! °O°
@TihadBaker While it doesn't have the best song for an intro, it I think still much better than what we got for Continuum Shift opening for the consoles. As far as the quality, it is directly recorded from the PS3 version, when this opening was first uploaded by others it was recorded "live" which is why the audio doesn't sound as good and you can even hear the band saying some stuff as they start singing the song.
Yeah, animation budget doesn't work like that. Just because it looks nice it doesn't mean it had a lot of money put into it, it just means there was a lot of talent behind it.
Oneish: it was a joke, but I understand what you mean, just because something is cool means nothing in the terms of how much money was used. Hopefully I got that right.
@@doomsday1268 yep, good animation mostly comes down to schedule. if your animators don't have enough time to complete each of their cuts, then they won't animate to the best of their ability.
I swear Kokonoe looks so good in this opening but makoto is still better because makoto is my waifu but i just have to point that out that Kokonoe is just really detailed in the opening 👌
@@fyreburst6887 Possibly, in Magnolia Eclair's case it could be an homage. Daisuke Ishiwatari us well known for referencing rock and metal bands in his works. I haven't made the comparison myself, but lots of people say that A Solitude That Asks Nothing in Return sounds like Breath to Breed by Napalm Death.
Not my favorite intro... the song doesn't do it for me. At least the quality in the upload is good, most sound like they have the audio from another source.
I like how Relius just shows up to make a point that he's in the game at the end lol
I love this opening, it brings back memories of when I was in 8th grade. God I feel old.

2021 and that still the best blazblue op

I mean, I personally prefer the one for CS2, but sure
@@AresGod0fWarlol yeah everyone that I know who likes blazblue sucks at it including me
Facts. Tho CP:EX is a close second.
Brings back memories of getting up randomly at 2am to play this. Such an underrated game...
My childhood game 👌
i love this song! and chrono phantasma extend's too. for some reason the extend openings have good animations and good songs imo
Vincent Tumblin the entire blazblue series is one of my favorite soundtracks

missing my childhood,,,
r.i.p ragna 2008-2016
Ragna The Bloodedge: The Unnamed Hero
Their opening songs are so good, the anime op is also pretty good (sadly it felt too rushed)
Just gonna wait till Mori makes BB5.
Mega Bloodoedji whenever that will be.... hopefully we’ll hear something about it this year.
@@CosmoCamelliaYT probably an announcement, and many delays
Would be suprised if they even made BB phase 5 honestly.
I got bad news for you, fellas...
A lot of the budget for the game probably went into this.

Oneish: great point, I am thinking of making a game myself and I was sorta looking for music that would fit for an opening for it. And well here I am.
This song is giving me this Evil Ryu and ONI crossover ideas.
I think of kenshiro singing this.
My favorite part 0:20
CP final intro has my heart, but this one gets seccond place easily!
El mejor opening de blazblue ... 😀

Why does the start sound like Ky kiskes theme in ggxrd?
It's made by the same music composer Daisuke Ishiwatari.
Oh so that explains why. Hehe but the start honestly sounds like magnolia eclair
@@fyreburst6887 And in turn Magnolia Eclair's opening riff sounds sounds like Electric Eye by Judas Priest
@@oneish7454 Recently heard that song and yeah youre right. It seems like alot of songs favor that kind of chord progression?

Does anyone knows the song name?
Wtf the tumbnail
Guess after all these years youtube glitched it. I'll change thumbnail to different scene of movie clip.
Tell me… what is the song name?
faylan soukyu no hikari
I didn't really like the vocals. BUT the music is great.
This makes me realize that CF's OP is pure garbage
It really is😭
i hate cf theme bbcsex theme is better than bbcf intro
Lyrics are good, don't like the singer
Just let someone else sing it...
Faylan is life. A lot of goth songs.
Just realized this is the woman who did the You Wa Shock cover.
