These guys at their age are banging out One at thrash speed faster than album then not even stopping into Sandman hahaha. I don't give a F*** what they drank, smoke, ate, slept with 🤣
I was there that night as well as night 1 and the performance of one was exceptional. I remember going crazy during the double kick and kirks iconic solo
There on night 2 and their acoustics were SHIT. The worst concert I have ever attended. Love the band but fire the sound engineer. If I rated them on performance there would be no rating high enough but on the sound and the giant echo chamber it was total shit.
@@MrRips-mu5px I thought cool night one ended with Master and I was hoping night two would have ended with Battery, but we can't get everything we wanted to hear brother
Both Friday and Sunday were awesome but I was a little bit disappointed that they didn't play one of their biggest songs unforgiven. They played it at another state. I was waiting for that song.
Was fortunate enough for them to play that at Glendale but they didn’t play one I wanted to hear which was fight fire with fire but nonetheless it was pretty cool to get random songs you’re not expecting for.
I was enjoying the song and lighting at first, then I noticed the stage setup. A circle, with fans in the middle and around it, with one section for moshing, Lars is at one spot on the stage, and James walking around. Genius fan experience. whoever thought of this.
I WAS THERE! I looked it up and they were supposed to play my favorite song ever (battery) but replaced it with fight fire with fire (still a good song) at the last minute. I’m saving up to fly to Seattle next year to watch them again they are so incredible live
@@ramram-td1jl yeah but the whole space is so vast, that the atmosphere suffers even with 70000 😔. Same with Taylor Swift. You need a telescope to see the artist.
I love Metallica AND I love a good live concert..you know what I love more???...the $500+ dollars I kept in my pocket by not going to this...sorry folks but this may look great but people paid thousands for one "seat" to see this.... I seen them in '94 so I got my GOAT for less money!
@@niceguy1 I have plenty of cash...and it's invested in stocks that pay me a passive monthly income. see the fact is I didn't see the point of paying $500 when I looked it up...now $240 day of show for same ticket would've been more reasonable. I don't just give away my money for any whim, I invest it...there's plenty of live material by Metallica on the internet to enjoy on my audiophile quality sound system at home. I reckon it was a great show no doubt, but your blind assertion of "I don't have money" lacks merit. I could've easily bought a ticket to The Snakepit if that's what I want. I'm a bit like Warren Buffet. I live on a budget and invest the rest. I'll be comfy for the rest of my life collecting money just for the fact I was savvy. and I'll rock out to Metallica live in concert in the privacy of my home. they've made plenty off this fan already, no need to fluff Lars Ulrich with any more dollars than necessary....hey Niceguy, you have a good life too. maybe someday we'll go Dutch at the sushi bar someday and I'll have a laugh about all this while you cheap out on the bento box on the lunch menu (actually that's the smart way to do it, don't waste your money!!)
@@luisenrique7415 I can't disagree with you. I reckon for most in attendance it was one of the best if not THE BEST concerts they'll see in person...I seen them supporting Live S*it Binge and Purge at Blockbuster Pavillion in 1994 and it was great. I've wanted to see them again since Death Magnetic. seems Robert Trijillo really breathed life back into that band and got them to go back into form. I reckon they decided to charge alot more because of scale of show and simply because they can. each year that passes it's gonna be more rare to catch Metallica so you gotta pay for it if you really want it....looked like a great show for sure!
Gee, I dunno, I'm 66 and it looks like a lot of excitement for this old gal. Might need an oxygen tank to be handy! Just joking. 😁 Geez, people are sooo serious these days and I had Covid!
Fan for 42 years.... first time seeing them live. I can die a happy man now.
That is awesome Bro Glad you will have memories that will never die until you do 20 years from now.
35 years later and I still get goosebumps every time I hear this song.

Im going next August. Cant wait
I was on the floor and man!!! This concert was nuts!!!!! Metallica you guys are legends!!!!!
That stage setup looks cool.

My first concert at the floor was so lit 🔥 lol I hope they come back to LA !
Incredible nights I’ll never forget
Same 🙏🙏
Night two had better acoustics but night one had a better playlist, in my opinion

I agree .. I was waiting for Blackened and Eye of the Beholder .. but I’ve heard those before
The sound on night 1 was pretty bad, at least where I was in the 300s, but night 2 upgraded to 100s and it was a lot better
Damn I thought day 2 line up was better ish. Day 1 seemed like more slow songs but I was waiting for battery:( and it never showed up

I was at the concert here. Life changing experience
Thanks for this perspective good audio I was on floor my ears are still ringing
I was on the floor too and same! And my body still hurst but it was the best night of my life 😀
@lorenaoliveros4640 my neck was stiff from headbanging gotta say most enjoyable gig I have ever been to I am so grateful to metallica

Nice I am driving down from Vancouver with a few of my friends from Vancouver for Seattle Shows arriving 2 days before events for sightseeing.
Hella good evening!!!!¡. Amazing coverage here. Thanks 🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
I WAS THERE!
Night one was probably the best night ever!
I saw Richard Simmons cheering people on in that "organized mosh pit."
?????
What does this men
Seriously
bwahahaha
and that mosh pit during Sandman might as well be called "The Safety Dance"
Bruh mfs are old what you want them to do💀
I got yelled at by some twat in a pit at Metallica about 5 years ago.
That ain’t no mosh pit, that’s Ring Around the Rosies
Not embarrassing at all. This is the biggest band in the world. Besides DEFLeppard and The Foos Love embarrassing all...
I want to like it but the location is so big with so much empty spaces in between, it's killing the atmosphere for me 😞.
There were at least 70,000 people there! All seats were full

Is this the show which outsold Taylor swift ?
One was great
Nite one
how was the sound up there?
sounds awesome. why is there so much empty space on the flooring area?
Probably safety reasons
everyone's packed towards the stage
Is this the one where that dog walked into watch the concert?
I do anything to be down there on the floor!!!
NIGHT TWO ✌🏼… ☝️….
Why are people walking in circles on the floor?
they're moshpits, you kinda just run around in circles and bash into others in the circle

I paid 180$ for floor tickets on the day of the show, after taxes and fees trough ticket master it was 240$
