I have None Of This Is True and Vampires of El Norte on Hold at the library. Not sure I've heard of any of the others. The shark one made me think of that meme, "would you still love me if I was a worm?". Maybe someone was inspired by that and wrote a whole book on the struggles of loving someone who is changing??

I picked Lisa Jewell's newest release this month, I was super stoked when I saw that it was listed. I've had it on my wish list for a while waiting for it to come out and wasn't really into anything this month. On Aardvark I chose Mister Magic and also How can I help you - both boxes showed up today in the mail so I'll be busy for a couple of days. :)
I choose vampires of El Norte I have been in the mood lately for a vampire book. Fingers crossed it’s good I haven’t read their other book. I was also thinking about getting the new Lisa Jewell book as I normally like her books but decided I would get it as an add on sometime in the future.

I chose "None of this is True" as it sounds pretty interesting to me. I also picked up The Great Alone as an add-on, as I have been wanting to read it for a while now. But I've been so busy with my graduate classes I haven't had time to read either yet! I totally agree with you on Shark Heart ...just too weird for me. I did, however, also pick up Chasing Shadows, a non-fiction book by Dr. Greg Skomal a well-known shark researcher (not a BOTM book). I was originally going to skip this month with BOTM but when the announced the Lisa Jewell book, I had to have it. I'm trying to catch up a bit on my TBR so unless a choice for September blows me away I will likely skip.
I’m going to get Happiness Falls or None of This is True. I’ve been reading soooo slow this summer so I don’t know if I should be getting more books! I look forward to your videos !
Awww it sucks that none of it interests you! I picked Family Lore because I loved all of Acevedo’s YA books (I even met her at a book event, she’s super cool) and her adult book was one that I anticipated so it was an immediate add. I also got an add on of Crying in H Mart for a readathon.

Weird how The Invisible Hour is listed on BOTM as “historical fantasy” but on Amazon it’s #1 in “occult horror”. 😅 can’t figure it out.
