Replacing some plants in front of the house

Last winter here in Texas received a cold front and it killed our Japanese boxwood plants that sit in front of our house. It looks like it has some mildew on one of them and the other looks like maybe it would survive if I cared for it, but we wanted to replace it with something different like those Red Tip Photinia we got.
