We still got one here at home. It's being used as the family tablet. I sold my personal Nexus 7 after a month using it. I practically didn't even use it. I was using my Smartphone more.
this is awesome man... i can't wait to get my hands over this device.. this is what we can called iPad killer.
You certainly know what you're talking about Carlos again :) Thank you for insights. I got to read up in regards to these A7 and A15 processors. :)
Actually, that's true in regards to it being optional. I am sure the tablet will be a lot cheaper without the camera, however, it won't be practical. Folks were demanding for a rear camera on the Nexus 7 and the second generation should be including one :)
I suggest you get a tablet with an HD Resolution. The new version of the Nexus 7 will be released by the end of July and will include a massive 1920x1200 resolution. Additionally, you can get the tablet mentioned in the above video which has a HD Resolution. On another note, you can try getting an iPad with a Retina Display, however, the display is around 9 inches, slightly bigger.
It will definitely be out soon as they had a working prototype in the ASUS Booth in Computex unlike the ASUS Fonepad Note. Perhaps sometime September or October 2013. :)
Great point. However, some have said that the chip architecture of the MediaTek Quad Core Processor isn't that powerful compared to Qualcomm's Snapdragon lineup.
Yeah, a Smartphone and a Notebook is all I need nowadays. :) Getting tempted to get the new Macbook Air ;)
Hi Pravinson. From what I saw I don't think there's any call capabilities. However, there might be a 3G unit coming out soon though.
I can't wait to get one. I have my eyes set on the MacBook Air or the Macbook Pro :)
For the HD7 it will be around $129 for 8GB and $149 for the 16GB and of course add a few thousand pesos due to taxes in the Philippines.
That's a pretty decent battery life.
I believe the Memo HD7 and MeMoPad HD7 are one and the same. Get the HD7. It will be here in the Philippines by Q3 2013 :)
Hi Kris. I think it should be out in a few weeks time in certain regions. ;) I have already seen a few reviews go up on RUclips meaning that it's already out in those markets. :)
Indeed. It's got a suitable Quad Core Processor too ;)
Quad Core though. I think it would be enough to play a few of the latest games :)
It most likely would be a MediaTek Processor, the same one being used on Acer's Liquid S1. :)
I had several issues with my Nexus 7. First, there was a screen lift on the left side of the tablet due to poor quality control. Second, my screen flickers in a low Wi-Fi due to the fact that it's trying to pick up the signal. I sold it after a month. I noticed I didn't need a tablet as I was mostly using my Smartphone :)
I don't think you need to overclock it. It's powerful enough already ;)
thanks for the video, consider to get one once release
Yeah, it's a little bit different, however, in terms of productivity and media tasks I believe Mac has won over Windows. I especially like the different desktops or work spaces and the gestures.
No price details as of the moment. It will probably be out in a couple of months time. Hopefully sooner ;)
It's only $129, so it's not that expensive when compared with other tablets from other reputable brands. :)
The HD7 has already been proven to be faster than the Nexus 7.
I read somewhere that the 5MP rear camera is OPTIONAL. But many articles don't mention that it is optional. i wonder how much the price will be more for the optional 5 MP camera.
Yes, Bisaya ko ;) Okay ang screen, however, I suggest you wait for the MeMO HD7. It will be out later this year, in time for Christmas. It will be on a Quad Core Processor ;)
Yeah, I heard about that issue already. Nonetheless, I think it would still be powerful enough to run a few of the latest games. What do you think?
You're welcome Lee Ching Siung. Great! It's a wise choice rather than getting the Nexus 7. ;)
Hi Varun. A slight difference. Why don't you wait for the second generation of the Nexus 7? It should be announced pretty soon. :)
Yup :) quad core processor is enough to handle the high end android games just fine. The 1 gig of ram will be an issue if you want to multi task while playing games but who does that?
Hi Nab Smith. It's a Quad Core Processor so I shouldn't see why it won't be good for gaming ;)
How about the 2013 Nexus 7 even though it might cost a few extra dollars. I would still recommend a Vanilla Android experience device. :)
Woah...Hope u do get one
Nice I want one :) as soon as it comes out. Does Cortex A7 in Memo Pad HD7 and Cortex A9 in Nexus 7 make a huge difference ?
The only issue is the expensive price tag on it ;)
Hi Carlos. I couldn't find that on the printed specification board with regards to which type of chip it's running on. I have a feeling it's the Nvidia Tegra 4 ;)
Both cos I have both at home. But its gonna be difficult if u start to use the Mac from the Windows cos its totally different!!!
Pardon for the mistake. It should be around 4000mAh, right?
So I am assuming the Nexus 7 will still outperform the MeMO Pad HD 7?
this is what im looking for. ips 720p, quadcore, with 5mp rear camera. im going to get the 16gb kpg dmating dito sa pinas. wait lng ng official announcement galing sa asus ph :)
Wait for this ;) The Nexus 7 is a very problematic device. I didn't even see the Nexus 7 being displayed at Computex. Definitely says something about that ;)
Oh I see.The WI-FI was really bad there... Its okay as long as you have your smartphone eh? Haha
6000 Mah battery ?? You are mistaken sir
I believe so. :)
Yup the Mac shows great engine!
Or he can get the Samsung Galaxy S4 which packs a Snapdragon 600 at 1.9GHz, if I am not mistaken. :)
Do you think the ASUS MeMO Pad HD7 is a good choice for gaming?
Wise choice :)
what were the rumors for the 2nd gen Nexus 7 price
should i wait for this, or get a nexus 7?
i owned a nexus 7... it kinda sucks. so that quad a7 should be so bad with preformance but very good on battery. The s4 with exynos has 8 cores, 4 cores based of A15 (for heavy tasks) and 4 based of A7 (less battery hunger but much less powerfull, usefull for simple tasks).
so a quad A7 is consider good only for lightweight tasks...
Are you currently a Windows or Mac User?
sir bisaya man ka sir nu? nindot iya screen sir? wide ang viewing angle?
Yeap ,thats one thing!Start saving Ok!
I want a tablet for the purpose of study(PDF, POWER POINT, VIDEOS, CHM FILES, etc). what tablet is good for that to read more comfortably? I am looking for medium prize tablets. which screen is best for reading without irritating our eyes? LCD or LED? my next option is samsung 2....
sir lahi sad na ang memo hd7 sa memopad hd7? same ra ang price sir? kung same ra ang price maghuwat nalang jud ko ana. hehe
Hi Indy. What's your source? Did you see benchmarks?
Its running on 4.2.1
6000 is too much... mabe around 4000 as in the nexus 7
what kind of quadcore is it running?
haha thank you. do you have any any idea of the pricing here in the philippines?
Wow great!
Hi, is there GSM facilities?? please confirm it...
What did u find bad about the Nexus?
I have doubts because it's a 1.2 GHz cpu :(
if its an quad a7... it will probably a mediatek one wich sucks.
if its tegra 4, its a beast! (but for that price i cant believe, the tegra 4 is a real highend A15 processor and a baws of gpu)
even a dual core can run games, if you are that worried then save up for an nvidia shield, you get tegra 4 and 2 gigs of ram, you have peace of mind that it will steamroll any android game with laughter!
where can i buy it?
the device is cheap but the price tag is expensive, that is ok for me because i don't buy and collect price tag only device :)
Overclock :)
I guess so ;)
cortex a7 cpu. so not very good.
Yup Nexus 7 is not so amazing and stuff
