I bought the the Harbor Freight miter saw for one reason... warranty. I know that they all come with a warranty but.. I can drive 2 miles if there is a problem with it, drop it on the counter, and have a new one come home with me. I hear people having issues with warranty and lengths of time getting dewalt, makita, etc fixed because its usually purchased 3rd party. The great thing about Hercules, it's literally Harbor Freight. Plus the saw itself is friggin awesome. It's right next to my dewalt planer that I bought because Mr. 731 can't stop posting stuff. Now I bought the bits that are on sale

I have the 12” sliding one and for $300 it’s amazing. Not to mention it is a direct copy of the Dewalt. I would bet money they are made in the same factory.

Really want to try those 5h Power Stack batteries, and I didn’t expect you to show the Hercules miter saw. I personally own that saw and it’s been as good as any I’ve used on the job

Warning ⚠️: DeWalt "power stack"....the kit is NOT two matching batteries. One is 5amp hours but the other battery is not. It's a bit misleading and their photos try to hide that fact but it is what it is. Probably still a decent deal but just be aware you're not buying two matching 5AH batteries.

Hi Matt I’ve spent the last 3 days debating on the shapeoko cnc kicking around the 4 vs the 5 you mentioned the 5 is much quieter I’m not a big fan of noise like others in your opinion is the differing price worth the noise level worth it. I’m a hobbyist that like toys, Thank you appall the hard work you do.👊🏻
It's a difference in noise but honestly the actual cutting makes a decent amount of noise itself. And the ball screws of the 5 make more noise than the belts on the 4. The VFD Spindle is quieter than the router of the 4 though. I think you'd be just as happy with either so if the sound level is the only thing swaying you, I'd save the money and get the 4.

Good afternoon, l just my DW735 with in and out feed, they were from the sale from like 2or3 weeks ago sale. I got 100 off on the planner and paid 54 for the in and out boards, total was like 551 and free shipping. This was the acmetool sale
FYI folks..... if you order from ACME.... grab a cup of coffee and prepare for an unfriendly user interface.... I had to enter my a address and payment information FOUR times before I figured the right sequence. Whoever designed the payment page needs to be either fired or retrained.
Not sure why everyone goes gaga over the dewalt thickness planer. For about the same as this cyber monday deal I bought the Wen planer with the spiral cutter head. The Wen is great. The DeWalt does have the blower built in, which is sweet, but then you have to deal with DeWalt customer service lol.

Hey Matt, I’ve been looking for a good tool deal on a 12 inch Delta cruzer miter saw. Help a brother out.

You cannot use any Harbor Freight coupons on the $299 miter saw since it is already on sale. The only additional savings would be the 10% off if you signed up for the credit card. But that's still the cheapest you will get that saw. The only other option I've see for that price would be if you received a "no-exclusions" 25% off coupon in the mail/email that is just for you.

It actually depends on the coupon. Most coupons don't stack, but sometimes HF will have brand specific coupons that do. I got the Bauer version of this saw on clearance with a no exclusions Hercules and Bauer coupon. A 12" sliding miter saw with drop shadow out the door including tax for $188.
That said, $300 for that Hercules is a good deal. I wouldn't be waiting for a coupon to beat it.
@@ST-0311 clearance is different. You can stack on those for sure. I've done it as well.

Has anyone else experienced a delay in your order from ACME Tools? I went with a Black Friday deal and got the 2 Dewalt batteries and charger with free router as the gift. I keep getting emails from Acme that there is a delay and now it’s expected to be the middle of December. I ordered it 3 weeks ago. Any thoughts?
Happed to me a couple weeks ago on the Milwaukee M18 Table Saw. I purchased it, 2 days later got an email stating it was delayed. It shipped a few days later. I think it was delayed about a week. I've reached out to them for an explanation on what's going on with that.
I called and complained so they shipped me the router which I finally got today. Still waiting on the batteries. They told me that demand was heavy and it outpaced their supply but that they would stand by the orders taken. So basically they were marketing for orders on goods they didn't have, or have enough of. Not a good experience. If I didn't call the whole order would still be sitting there.
I called them and they said they are out of stock on the batteries and router I ordered until at least mid December. I was in Home Depot the other day and saw the same deal about $10 more and the shelves were full. Acme said the big box stores get more stock then they do. I think thats unfair because I like shopping more at the mom and pop stores than I do big box. But for $10 more I could have had my set already. And I really could have used the router this week. I'm giving Acme the chance to get it to me by mid December. If not, Home Depot it is!
@@johnshemi8863 They finally shipped the Dewalt batteries saying I should have them Friday. That would mean it took a month to get them. I thought I read somewhere that Amazon owns Acme Tool. If so, this shipping situation doesn't make much sense.

Matt, you’re bankrupting me and damaging my marriage! I’m weak and can’t help but buying tools when the deals are too good to pass up. This morning I saw the Fuji Pro 2 HVLP paint sprayer on the Amazon lightning deals for $420! That’s $100 less than I’ve ever seen it, so I had to buy it. Now you tell us about the Dewalt 735X planner for $524, which again is the lowest price I’ve ever seen it with the extension tables and extra blades. I had to have it, so bought it! So, I’ve been worrying about what to get my wife for Christmas and here I’ve spent over $1300 on a planner, a paint sprayer and various bits and other woodworking tools and haven’t bought my wonderful wife anything. I even bought a Bosch router combo kit yesterday to give to my wife so she can give it to me for Christmas! Can you believe that? I’m a horrible husband and blame it on you, this dang woodworking hobby, and a small possibility that I have a slight tool fetish! Now I have to figure out what to get my wife for Christmas that will benefit me! Being a good husband isn’t easy!
