If the pandemic taught me anything it was how to appreciate what I had: a roof over my head, food on my table, a close circle of friends to help through the dark moments. Now that the world is opening back up it seems I’ve been moving at breakneck speed to catch up on everything I’ve missed and I find myself so overwhelmed. What a beautiful and perfectly timed reminder to just slow back down. Thank you, Ricky! And I hope you all have taken that time for yourselves, too! 😊

Literally cried watching this. Ricky, and the rest of motionless, you guys have and will continue motivate me to follow my dreams, and help realize how amazing it is to be alive. I know I wouldn't be here without music in my life, you guys playing a big part in that. It's always been my dream to be in a rock band, but my peers have negatively reflected my hopes and passions. But you guys inspire me, and I hope to achieve those goals one day. The craziest thing I learned over time is that being a creative doesn’t mean the ultimate end goal for everyone is to be rich and famous. Sometimes it really is just finding the groove that works for the individual. For me it’s, oddly enough, been sharing my art with my friends and at some local events that has filled that empty spot. And even from being a low key creator, taking time off to sit, do something, do nothing, but ultimately not think about making is okay. It is enough.

Totally agree. If you work hard and look back at the little moments at the end of the day, you will feel a lot of accomplishments. I've tried to take a break, Ricky what you said was a good idea. At one moment I was grateful for the moment in life. And I'm glad you devoted yourself to photography. All the scenery are awesome!

I am not an artist but I have been stressing A LOT lately thinking about the future. I will apply to PhD programs and everything is so competitive nowadays that I keep working non stop to be a good enough applicant, without taking a break to think that it's ok, there's no rush, I will get to where I want to be, but I can't forget that where I am right now is also enjoyable. Important reflection and beautiful video. So happy for Ryan about the engagement! Keep up the good work 🖤

In all seriousness though, I’m glad you made this because if anyone else had, I wouldn’t have watched it. Me and my boyfriend split up a little bit over a month ago to focus on our mental health and I miss him a lot, so the hand holding clip made me a bit sad :,) it’s hard not to be negative all the time, but this is a nice reminder that good things are still happening and more good things will come eventually.
