Another belter. Love the fact you faded out the music during the elephant bath and just had us listening to nature unadulterated. Nicely done mate.

Glad you enjoyed it Shaun! Love your feedback! I usually prefer natural audio but this was filmed during the dry winter and the bush was pretty much silent compared to the summer months... This trip I didn't get to Pafuri but I was there for 4 nights at the end of December! Had some great sightings of Three-banded Courser, Racket-tailed Roller and probably 5 different African Cuckoo's! Special place...

You won't believe how much slack I've gotten for putting music in my videos, which is a shame cos I spend a bit of time editing it all to get it there and then someone berates you off for it.
      Looking forward to part 3.

Lovely job, Richard. Your door mount certainly helps with panning. We were there last November, 167 species, I don't know how good that is. What dates did you make this film? It looks to be wetter than when we were there.

Thanks so much, the door mount really helps with getting the camera steady on small subjects too. This was filmed in August so it was very dry.. I was in the park for three weeks during December and January and managed to see 270 bird species, it all depends on how long you go for and how many different environments you visit. Thanks again for the nice comment!

@@RichardvanHaght It looked wetter than when we were there for all November last year. That is the end of the dry season of course, but we missed sitting at the waterholes which were pretty much all dry. But its still a wonderful place, whatever the time of year. I look forward to the rest of the series.

At 9:00 was that an African Wildcat or a loose domestic cat?
