I really enjoy these style of videos, TL seems to have a unique friendly atmosphere
Glad you like them!
Yeah I really found some good friends here.. most ppl who come usually like it here.
@@thatbusdriverguy4182 That's good to hear, Bexleyheath seems to have a similar atmosphere, it must brighten up your days working there
I would love to become a bus driver one time for Stagecoach but I have to get my first job done and dusted first as an Waiter
Love the video mate nice to see Catfords finest at its best having a laugh good times come and see us on night sometimes shunters 👍
Gonna sound strange not really a bus fan but I happen to come across this in my recommendation bit, though I'll have a nose quite like the vlog very relaxing to watch.
Thanks for sharing your day.
Thanks
Glad I was able to catch your attention
Big up from go ahead been watching your videos throughout my training. Got type training tomorrow then pass to garage on wednesday and your videos helped me see what the life of a driver is all about!
keep up the good work my man👍
Thanks
Tango Lima looks a happy shed mate, brung it all back when I was a bus driver ,stagecoach as far as the railway was concerned as I worked for southwest trains was good now it’s first MTR 😢,when I came back to bus driving at Westbourne Park I was surprised that you can not just overtake to help your leader out like in the old days ibus controller would tell me to hold back even though I was running to time years ago we could work the road otherwise you would be a scratcher 😂😂,all the best mate we need more like you in the industry 😊
Cheers
Mark 😊😊
Thanks mate
Hi, I’m a bus driver in Brighton, started nearly 5 years ago.. love my job, so varied and better than sitting behind a desk all day, meet some great people ie colleagues and passengers… also worked in the recruitment department for a while, Brighton & Hove look after their staff really well.
Really enjoyed your footage of behind the scenes, it’s very similar to our garage, everyone really happy and friendly..
I’ve recently appeared in their recruitment advert on sky tv and RUclips.. really enjoyed doing that, thing is I get recognised now !
We also have some of Londons buses with the silly pole so buggies can’t fit on properly! Madness!
Keep up the great videos! 🫶
Hey! Just saw this as I was scrolling through the comments, I’m currently going through the recruitment process for B&H and I’m looking forward to start. Never driven a bus before and had never thought about being a bus driver but it’s videos and comments like this that excites me! Currently waiting for my provisional to be sent back before I fully start but hopefully I get to meet you one day! 🙌🏼
Your such a posser Len. Great vid as always, the ladies do love you man! Can’t wait for the next one❤😊
Lol
I would really be interested in one time by working for Stagecoach
Great video's lovely people tou work with. Say a big hello to Boomie for me, she had the desk next to me at Oldbury when we did the Commonwealth last year, keep it up man. Pat rocking the old school eppaulettes. Should have kept then 🙂
I will send her this comment
Hey I'm really enjoying your videos keep up the great work I'm also a bus driver here in Trinidad 🇹🇹
Thanks bro
Are you going to upload more videos about yourself driving more Stagecoach buses mate
Hey Len, really enjoying the content with the new camera but your editing style is improving too! I drive city/suburb for First in Glasgow but it's way too big a depot..also I'm sure with our policies if you did something like this they'd shoot you on site LOL! Your garage looks a lot more tight knit and everyone knows each other kinda thing..wish we had a radio system too! Keep it up m8 🙏💪
Thank a lot nice to learn about how things are in you end of the woods
Just found you. Looks like you have some good work mates there. I was laughing my head off
Yeah this is how it is in Catford lol.. A lot of drivers who come from other garage always say they like the garage..
Amazing video, I enjoyed every second of it. It’s very interesting to see the life of bus driving and how everybody works together. Please make more videos like this 👍🏽
Glad you enjoyed it!
what route do they put new drivers on first to learn
I love these videos so much!
Thanks
Bringing out the best in people again Leonard 😊
Thanks
I will make more
Some good insight on the basic standpoint, worth a subscribe! 👋 from the railway family on the Essex side :)
Thank you
Brilliant video
Thanks
Please can you show more of your DUTY CARDS because years ago I used to do them when I used to work with old South Wales buses in SWANSEA it is now FIRST CYMRU BUSES I use to do to all the duty cards I like your RUclips channel
Massive respect to you guys, I could never do your job- you should be paid way more than train drivers for the stress you have to deal with
Thanks
Ridiculous comment
I do it now in the east midlands, not as lively as London driver wise. Grumpy lot this end. Always love my London people
Good to see so many recognisable faces... I haven't been there for 7 years, comforting how little has changed. Keep up the good work people :-)
Great videos.
Ive got a friend whose a bus driver, and once when he was doing a routemaster bus tour job and on his way back to the depot i hopped on his bus back to the garage and another time i had a meal for drivers only in one of their canteens even though I'm a postal worker 😂
Love your channel ,all the best from TREV the WALSALL bus driver
You had kid...I didn't see your stomach 😂😂
lol
Did you ever drive the TA buses? Those old ALX Buses? They were the best buses, very quick and noisy and fast. 😊
Only in training, yes they are quick. They all gone now..
Know wound buses are late in to busy watching RUclips
Good coffee machine in that shop.
I’ll be honest, I know quite a few bus drivers from Catford bus garage. Not sure if they are there although. (I forgot there names)
Kinell TL looks better than when I was there
i get called all sorts of names but you tube would block you on here if i told you 🤣😂
That was jokes!!
Iam a bus driver in Dunedin
Big up the bus driver guy 🫡
Thanks
Catford was my local garage growing up, went to school on 160 or 124 from Eltham 1959 to 1964, Was Traffis Admin trainee at 55 Broadway for London Transport 1969 to 1973. Bus routes in the area are basically much the same as then.
Ohh your videos are well interesting - lots of gratitude for bus drivers !
Thanks
This is a great video, better than any behind the scenes programme I’ve seen on the TV. Great to see so many people happy, really nice to see. Parts of this made me genuinely laugh out loud, especially the chap who said he’d been there 13 years, but started in 1988, then 1998 😝
I used to live near the Plumstead Garage and only used the Catford routes a few times, went on the 47 on an 05 reg Trident and sometimes used the 75 back home from Croydon. Is Fritz still getting the bus in Catford? I’ve seen him a few times but it was ages ago now. Anyhow, great work and keep them coming, the camera seems excellent, comes up extra well when synched to the telly 👍🏼
Love you comment, yes the scene you mentioned makes me laugh every time...
@@thatbusdriverguy4182Thanks! Glad you’ve posted about the DJI Pocket 3, I was looking at what would give high quality results and getting answers in the ££££ range (which I can’t justify) this looks excellent, the picture quality and sound too, and the features like the camera which turns around. It seems to keep a really still picture even when being turned around and moving up and down too. The only thing for me is my ancient laptop wouldn’t be any good for editing…..but seeing your camera has given me real food for thought so thanks for sharing 😊
Edit: Going to timestamp that scene 17:30 and New Addington? Played darts there when I was with a team in Croydon, done Man on The Moon, ACA and Over 21 Club (never the Randall though), a great laugh at those
Good to see the workings of Catford Garage. My grandfather was based there for many years - retired around 1968 !! How parts of it have changed ! Also seeing a bus on the 47 route, wonder if it is still the same as it used to go right past my grandparents house in Lewisham.
In the old days 47 went past the garage to Farnborough.
Thanks
What London buses do you drive on or any other ones
I drive 47 mainly and 661 621 school buses, plus I drive all other routes on rest days, 273, 54, 380, 75, P4, 124, 136, 199, and more
@@thatbusdriverguy4182 do u do overtime much
Respect to you I know what it's like I work for stagecoach midlands in northamptonshire. 👊👍
I done 26 years of driving buses in Belvedere bexleyheath Plumstead and Morden Whalf the job isn’t what it used to be
@@danbus180 why did you leave
@@RileEren why did I leave the job isn’t the same anymore TFL don’t care about you plus your just a employee number to them that’s it even in most bus companies managers don’t look up to you there more on the publics side then there own staff and unions don’t care there more interested taking your union fees so after 26 years I had enough of the job what you should do is do a video with a driver from start to finish so you can witness it yourself
Brilliant video, you have some really friendly and genuine work colleagues. I think this would be very helpful for any person aspiring to work for Stagecoach.
How old do you have to be to work for Stagecoach
18 to drive or younger for apprentice engineer
@@thatbusdriverguy4182 are they hiring for apprentice engineers
how old are u bro
Contact me by email and I will tell you lol
Is Stagecoach a good job for people by learning how to drive buses
Driving the bus is the easy bit !
Very good training
@user-yi5jf3xy5i anyone can drive a bus but not everyone can be a bus driver
I trained with stagecoach, driving is easy but dealing with our lovely customers is something else.
Is dawn in the office single? Very attractive lady ❤
Love your positive attitude and the videos are great. Looking forward to seeing more.
Anyone know if mark green still works as a controller ???
Gordon young ?
I will ask
Have you ever driven the Stagecoach buses to Bedford before
What are the roles for Stagecoach
I there are a few will tell you asap
16.50 that Julie girl looks pissed/drunk she was rather unsteady on her feet..
lol, she is always like that.. not drunk, I hope 😂
@@thatbusdriverguy4182 I must admit I wondered if she had a slightly giddy turn the way she leant on the side, but seemed ok a few seconds after - maybe being on camera bought on a bit of stage fright!
Nice one Len! Love your videos, keep it up mate! 😊
We need more awesome content lens 😂😂❤
Another really interesting video, I'm glad I'm not the only one who forgets where I parked my car 🤣 🤣 🤣 looks like a friendly environment there, I would have thought the 54 would be the best route to do but I guess everyone has different opinions? Did you say you were from New Addington? I lived there years ago, small world 🌎 👍
Yeah that where I lived, left there many moons ago.. 54 is a good route, always like driving it.
I love your videos, you have a great positive and friendly vibe. You could do morning and evening routines vlogs for work maybe, tips for passengers on buses?
Thanks, I have a few passenger tips on my other videos, just need to organise a playlist. But there is room for plenty more passengers topics.
I've got an assessment at arriva up north in wakefield, looks so much fun, can't wait
Yeah hope it goes well
have you ever got into an incident?
Yes a few
i have today, what are your ways to get over it?@@thatbusdriverguy4182
