I tried the MoLing's Random Mod, and enabled "random chests" in the config, but when i generate worlds i get an error message and i cant load into the world. Did you do something different?
@@Nuggets75 it happened to me too the other day, I think a recent update broke the mod so instead I’ve been using (Terraria Randomizer Mod) and that one works fine just less options.
@@AutumnDeity I didn’t do anything actually, it’s just completely random. I had streaks where I got like 3 chests in a row with only 2-3 items and then I’d get a completely full one. I cut out a lot of the bad chests which is why it looks like all of them are full.

@@Goncrzy actually fair Heads up tho infernum is FULLY different from Death mode and the old "Masochist mode" of calamity its not Oh do this complete that my friend Its a full on Test of skill and wits and YOU NEED the absolute upgrade of that stage to do anything So just heads up And for extra fun I recodmend the expansion of Calamity 2 Super God bosses too for infernum since its cannon by the dev team of calamity Thats all ill say as a heads up no major spoilers Have fun with it one day

This mod just wouldn't be fun. There's a 100% chance you get a really powerful weapon in just a few chests, and it makes it too easy. It's not a challenge at all. Video's with random chests are dumb because it's not entertaining in my eyes. Every time the player get's anything in hardmode, it's a breeze. You have the whole game finished in like an hour. By the time you get to hardmode, there is a pretty good chance you'll have a weapon strong enough to kill Moon Lord from all the chests. I mean you literally got the star wrath in the first chest you opened.
@@GardenWarfare2Clips I get what you’re saying and you’re right it does make the game too easy but at the same time part of the fun of it is not knowing what you’re gonna get and becoming overpowered early. People like me that just enjoy playing the game even if it’s easy would have fun but a lot of people that play the game to be challenging are not gonna enjoy this type of mod and that’s perfectly fine. I plan on doing a legitimate infernum mode run in the future and that video will probably be better for people that enjoy more challenging content. Thanks for your valuable opinion!
You could always limit the amount of chests you get like without defeating certain bosses, along with the amount of items that spawn in a chest to try and balance it more or something, either way I enjoy the random aspect lol
Honestly this is an issue with like, solid 99% of "challenge" runs in modded terraria, it's always Terraria but something something I'm OP in 2 seconds.
my brother, that’s the whole point of these randomizers, it’s to get op in seconds and have fun melting bosses in seconds. not everyone needs to suffer 100 deaths on a boss to have fun, or ppl already did that and just want to chill out and play terraria
