I think Chonda needs to do a parody of I Will Survive and record it! I was laughing already with the words she was making up. As soon as you all read "I feel alive, I come alive, I am alive" I knew it was God's Great Dancefloor such a great song and love when Chris Tomlin does that live in concert.
The Tim Hawkins bit, “that’s from my therapist”, the barbershop quartet thing, these two together are freakin gold. We need more of them together plus your editor being let loose some more. 😂 I will say, some of these worship songs felt a little off, but that’s just my two cents
I'd like to start off by saying I know nothing about disco music. My parents were too old and I was too young. So, I listen to Houston's KSBJ, so I am familiar with God, Turn It Around by Reddick. Also, I attend a Baptist church, so Lord, I Need You by Matt Maher is the song they play after the pastor gives the message, with just the pianist and the worship leader. I am familiar with Hillsong, but not of anything specifically by Hastings. I did not know that Maverick City song, but I know others. But... But, when I saw it say, I feel alive, I come alive, I am alive, I knew right away where that was going. Also, I paused the video to type this, so I hope I don't get embarrassed with this, but I am 99.99% sure that that is Mr. Chris Tomlin's "God's Great Dance Floor!"
Love these. I would love to see you guys go on to rumble too. I know I'm focusing more over there now and it would be great to not backtrack for your good content.
