    Why loosen the anti roll bar link? That seems to be a general misconception.

    Good explanation, thank you.
    I did think, though, that the wishbone arm bolt should only be gently screwed in, and then the Volvo taken off the stands, onto the wheel, before being torqued up (at the cars normal weight bearing/ride height) ?
    Perhaps once the wheel is attached, and lowered, bolt access may be too difficult to do this. Correct me please if I am mistaken.

      There wasn't enough room to torque all the nuts n bolts while the wheel was on so that's why I torqued them up while the car was in the air. Thanks for your appreciation.
