I feel like it would depend on the kind of spider, and how constantly they’re emitted. Dangerous ones would probably be a no, but garden spiders would be fine. If they’re emitted at any noticeable rate, it would probably also have an insane impact on the environment- maybe worse than carbon emissions (I’m not knowledgeable on carbon emissions though). Things that eat spiders would have a population explosion, and things that get eaten by spiders would potentially go extinct. Most pollinators would suffer, which would in turn affect our food supply.

Well, the time inverter is actually cool. Depending on how long it take for things to decay into dark matter, it could potentially help with a lot of issues! Lets say someone has a terminal illness, you could move them back to the point they don't have it, and maybe treat it! And it seems like even though time is moving backwards, the people keep their memories, so you wouldn't have to worry about having to relearn things.

The TV show "Walking with Monsters" included Megarachne in its Carboniferous (not Permian) episode as pretty much the main antagonist, and at the time its fossils were believed to be those of giant spiders, so production went ahead with them as such. Partway through however another study found the fossil to not be of a cat-sized massive spider, but rather a small sized Eurypterid, often called sea scorpions despite not being true scorpions. However, it was too late in production to change this, and it went ahead. To account for this, narration was changed to label the spider as Mesothelae, a suborder of extinct spiders very different from the creature featured in the show.
