Business Districts Overview
Buffalo offers extensive business options within the city, each accommodating to a variety of business needs. The most northern district in the city is the Wright County North Campus. Government services provided by Wright County are housed and many are headquartered here.

The Commercial Corridor resides at the intersection of Highway 55 and Highway 25. This district provides a variety of retail and dinning amenities along with room and opportunity for growth.
The Depot District provides a modern mix of retail and dining businesses, offering easy access on and off Highway 55, and only a few blocks from the downtown district.
The Crossroads business district offers diversity and growth for many different business models. Located north of town on Willems Way, this district is home to the community’s newest medical office, the Crossroads Campus Mall and several dinning and retail businesses.
The 55 Center business district is made up of businesses located on the community’s busiest highway. This district provides an assortment of retail, dining and specialty services.
The Industrial and Business Campus district contains the city’s main industrial park, Centennial. This park along with the Business Campus area, headquarters many successful businesses in manufacturing and other nation-wide services.
The 55 East business district is a combination of retail and government services. Located near Highway 55 is Menards, Kwik Trip, Treuman Welters, the municipal airport along with other city facilities.
Downtown District and the Development Project
Located at the heart of the Buffalo community and nestle against Buffalo Lake, is the Downtown Lakeside Central business district. This area is an eclectic mix of small businesses including retail, dining, art, the public library and other family entertainment. With cobble stone walkways from the streets along the lake and to Sturges Park, businesses enjoy the community and intimate feel.
With the investment into a large block of property downtown, the City of Buffalo has a redevelopment plan to bring new and serviceable ideas to the community.
