Exactly drawing Y=mx+b on a graph is completely backwards from how a graph is made. Because let’s say you have a negative slope so -2x that would be to the left not the right.. listen I’ve never gotten slope and graph math in the first place but I know what I have learned in the past and how it does not make sense now

How do you know which numbers to pick for the table?

The table is the x - axis. In an exam, they may say from -4 to 4 for example and those will usually be your x values. Hope that helps.

Like how do you know what x should be because the table of values changed on each example

You can make up the values as the line is infinite, that means any number you chose can be depicted to create a patern and in tern a line. Though it is better to pick smaller numbers also using + and - as it is better depicted. 👍 Hope this helps
