You were at RAH as well? Wasn't it f***ing amazing? I literally never remember another concert where so many songs ended with full-on screaming applause, and yet it never felt forced or over-the-top, it was just that good. And the encores, where people at last stood up. Do you remember which of the songs it was where everyone got out their phones and put their torches on? That was one of very many teary moments for me. I really hope Aurora gets a full sense of what she means to people. I'm not typically the kind of person to gush about artists or celebrities in general, but their is something so uplifting about experiencing Aurora. Definitely a special person. A light for these dark times.
She is such a graceful creature she doesn't dance she doesn't walk or run she floats weightless, effortless she is a vision takes you to another level you'll see soon I guess it's pure Magic
Invisible wounds... THAT'S my Aurora. It has this deep healing quality, like she is petting my soul ( can I say it this way?) The song is so soothing and soft. I could listen to this song every day... I hope she will end her show in Toronto with this song too 🦷🦷🦷🦷🦷
She is so pretty I went to her concert last Friday took my gradaughter Valentina with me, and I thought she was all about Taylor Swift and it surprised me and blew my mind she knew the lyrics and was dancin singin and havin a great time unfortunately they cancelled the after party show lasted more than two hours and she gave it all guess she was wasted but we had the time of our lives Love Aurora she is so freaking unique audience was mesmerized everybody sang the whole show and I guess Aurora was kinda moved as well. She even made people sing harmonies sound was pristine these Vikings are so freaking good and Valentina my lil princess is one of us Warriors now great!
I adore both of these performances. TDDL is one of my favourites, and this performance, with the wind blowing through her hair and gossamer garments reminds me of Neo-Classical paintings of Greek goddesses from the nineteenth century. IW is such a gorgeous song. It was great to see her able to keep her sh-t together to the end for the kids😢. It’s such a fine balance between emotion and technique. What an empath, able to project an emotional force-field, sharing a world with her audience, even through the videos. I am constantly in awe.
I really thought that The Dark Dresses Lightly was my least favorite from the album at first, but it's honestly one of my favorites now. Especially the end -"to the rivers, through the water, where the floodgates are wide open, and the tower has fallen onto you". There is just something about the end of the song that is so powerful, and it gets me so hype when I'm driving. I love it.
I need to say I loved and love The Dark Dresses Lightly - one of my top favorites on album. I also love invisible wounds - although generally it was and it is still is a little lower in my ranking then first song (but it raised higher with time). And of course this performance of Invisible Wounds with orchestra is just amazing.
That Invisible Wounds performance gives me full body chills, no matter how many times I've seen it. It's honestly one of my favourite ever performances by her, it is beautiful.
She sings to sick kids, that’s why she holds back and made it more dreamlike And the orchestra is funded by all Norwegian by our taxes ( cause Norwegian broadcasting is state owned and KORK is a part of NRK) and Roskilde is in Denmark
Roskilde is the largest music festival here in Denmark. It consists of a large scene "The Orange" and smaller ones. Being able to play on the orange stage is an honor and even though it was far too big for Aurora, she still managed to fill it. I had one of the coveted day tickets and it was the second time I saw Aurora live. Even though it was cold and raining a lot, the atmosphere during Aurora's performance was fantastic and even those who didn't know Aurora thought she was fantastic at the end (like the couple from Germany who stood next to me). It was raining mostly but the sun came out every now and then and made Aurora shine even more. By the way, she has the entry band on her ankle. What a great day, what a great concert. Look forward to this experience.❤
I noticed she had the Glastonbury bands on her ankle too. Can picture her going to the entrance, everyone puts their arm out to get tagged, Aurora does a high kick & they attach it to her ankle. 😆
Great reaction, this performance of The Dark Dresses Lightly is one of my favorites. You are going to be blown away when you see her live, You better have tissue! I'm seeing for the third time on Dec 4th, second show this year.
“ What in the hippie hell ?!, “ made me laugh out loud. So funny. This song is very different for Aurora, I agree, but I love it so much. I love she always tries different things and is so different. But, gosh, that comment made me giggle.
This is what I love about music. There is something for everyone! And you’re totally allowed to have an opinion. The Dark Dresses Lightly is one of my favourites. The sound, the elements and the lyrics especially resonate with me. 2 weeks and 6 days until Toronto!!!! Not that I’m counting. 😆
Thanks for the great reaction! Yes, the world needs Aurora's pure soul, especially now! My suggestions are live performances from a little while ago... AURORA - Home | Live Acoustic (Legendado) Aurora | Queendom | Loustic Sessions AURORA - Runaway at 101.9 KINK | PNC Live Studio Session The last one is from 2022, and she performed six songs for PNC Live Studio. They are stripped down acoustic versions and all great!
Thank you for the double reaction! It’s one of the best things today and makes me forget (for a little while) what is happening here in the lower 48. Looking forward to the new Aurora poll!
I love aurora. I didn’t love this song either but I watched this clip a lot. There were times her voice reminded me of the cranberries during this song.
Two very different sides of Aurora. I like them equally! I agree WTDDL does give off some Marina vibes, and the live performance is just amazing. Recommendations: I’d go with the Tiny Desk Concert done many years ago, and interview wise I think the one with Triple J called Carrots, Nit-picking, castles and bats is very entertaining.
Hi Ashlena, for your next poll I would like to suggest something different, not a song, but AURORA's "Say It Or Snail It" interview for Deezer. It shows her hilarious and funny side and her intelligent and wise side.
@@ashlenamusic That's great. I hope you will add this video of AURORA's "Say It Or Snail It" interview to your poll and that you will be able to react to it. I can't wait to see you laughing to the funny answers AURORA is giving to some of the questions. The "Say It Or Snail It" interview for Deezer is basically a "truth or dare" interview and, since Deezer is a music streaming company based in France, the person being interviewd must eat a snail when she or he doesn't want to answer a certain question.
So glad that you are going to see her on Dec 2. life changing for you I am sure. I will be seeing her for the second time in New York City on the 4th and can't wait. This time i got the pass for the Sound check, and I am really excited about seeing her in this phase of a particular concert. Thanks again for all of your great "Aurora Tuesday" reactions, you have brought many videos that I might not have otherwise seen. Keep it up
@@ashlenamusic It was an option for the(VIP?) ticket package. And I do not yet know how early it is yet until I can access my tix through Ticketmaster on the 28th. What my ticket states is "AURORA Soundcheck Experience". Can't wait! I hope it is everything that you hope for and more! ♥
Personally I love The Dark Dresses Lightly. The vibe of the beat is awesome and the lyrics I totally connect with ☺. And that performance of Invisible Wounds at the Barnekreftforeningen was just magic and got me in 🥲🥲🥲 ( again ).
The wind and the rain were definitely payed actors, the amount of power emanating from this performance is perfection. 2 aurora Tuesday until the day when our woodland elf visit. I would donate my life saving to see that invisible wound concert would render me homeless but I’ll die happy.
I didn't connect with "The Dark Dresses Lightly" at first, but I soon grew to love it. I would say it's somewhere near the middle of my album favorites, not near the top nor bottom. And "Invisible Wounds" has already become kind of an iconic song for her, given how personal it is. I love both of these performances, and it's great to have them both pro-shot, though the circumstances are so sad for IW. I love that little moment where she blows kisses at the guy replacing her setlist. I've seen her introduce to the crowd just about everybody in her crew, including those behind the scenes, and right down to her head of security. And she talks about each one of them like they're the greatest person in the world, in a completely honest and heartfelt way. She has so much love to give, she must be awesome to work for.
Hello Ashlena. Thank you for all your beautiful Aurora Tuesdays. I love both songs infact for me dark dresses..... is the best upbeat song on the album. But thats silly me 😁 i coming back to my suggest for Mola Chill Fridays - AURORA - Live From Bergen (2021-06-25). for her fans in Indonesia. It's live but no audience. In terms of quality, this is something spectacular and I love when she sings with only Magnus (drums and percussion) and Fredrik (Guitar). It's totally crazy that it only has under 1400 views. Her voice is magical in all the songs and it's hard to say which one is the best and there are some of her adorable chats between songs. Infections of a different kind also has the entire original text, which she rarely sings. They are well known songs but they are well worth hearing over, over and over again. I hope you can catch the whole "concert" it's 52 minutes short. but my favorite is "Exist for love" 18.17 - 24.08 There are moments in that song that are probably the most beautiful I've heard and yes she also offers a little mini slip-up. Hope you see this and once again thank you so much for doing this with Aurora. ❤🎉
Aurora doesnt care about music execs and money. She does it her way and fk all the rest . Good for her, just a pure soul. And yes you will cry your eyes out 2nd Dec lol. I did
I swear she’s channeling Kate Bush on The Dark Dresses Lightly, it’s uncanny how much she sounds like her. Invisible Wounds is such a beautiful & haunting song - I think we’re both in trouble if she sings it here 🥹. Aurora’s such a sweet soul, much like yourself. Thanks, Ash! ❤
Roskilde is in Denmark. The musicfestival has been going on for years and years. (First time 1971) It was in the beginning of july 2024.Cheers from a finn in Sweden.🎉
happy aurora tuesdays! i have to say, that i love 'the dark dresses lightly', i like the syncopation's over the whole song and the lyrics, the dynamics and the idea itself. and 'invisible wounds' has a very beautiful orchestration, trombones, vibraphone, harp, horn, oboes, really nice. but i prefer her intimate version(s) of the song. thanks for the double future.
Thank you for finally reacting to the dark dresses lightly, it's one of my favorite songs and the final part on this stage is great, invisible wounds is also one of my favorite songs and the best thing is that on November 6th I was able to witness them live, It was like living a dream and at the same time meeting a friend haha, it was worth waiting in the rain and arriving soaked to the concert, although these days I pay the consequences 🥲 But it is certainly one of the best experiences of this year and of my life, Aurora is an extraordinary artist and a wonderful human being, I have no doubt about it. Invisible wounds was her farewell song and she was really touched, it was a really emotional moment. I really hope that everyone who admires Aurora and her music has the chance to see her once in their life, it's a wonderful gift❤
Happy Aurora Tuesday ❤❤ Invisible Wounds is a beautiful song from a beautiful angel. I also like the live version of the other but that’s no surprise I enjoy all of her live music. Great reaction as always, stay safe and looking forward to next week ❤❤
I have just watched the Once Aurora documentary parts 1, 2 & 3. I think my mouth was wide open for most of it lol. What an insight from her begginings to now. Beautifully recorded and the emotion i felt for her , wow xx
I just saw her live in chile for the second time in my life and she's amazing, you will love her. Btw i love When the dark dress ligthly and im a big Marina fan, maybe there is a conection hahaha
To me first song gives huge kate bush vibes but can also see Marina there 😅… i do like it but like many songs in this album, it’s not the typical Aurora sound that l usually love the most.. that said, invisible wounds? Omg 🤤
That second song was wonderful. I think I'm more excited for you seeing Aurora than you are! I know the concert vlog is going to be great. And I keep reading this as rockslide too!
Yes I like that, the both side of our mini-wheet Aurora: the frosted one and the serious one loll Have you seen the backstage from the royal albert hall? It's on the Royale Albert chanel, her face when she get to hear the organe, magic. Have a good day.
@@ashlenamusic I know you saw the song, BUT on Royal Albert Hall chanel you have a clip of 9 minute of Aurora BTS befor the concert and a bit of rehersal with the organ. ;-)
What can I say that hasn't already been said? She brings me joy, she is remarkable and you bring us all joy by giving us yourself along with Aurora every Tuesday, yes, never ever stop 😍😍. Have you gotten enough suggestions yet? Do I need to add any? I have so many that I have a hard time remembering them, 😋. Thanks so much for every Aurora Tuesday. 🥰 Also, I am your neighbor and still shocked, angry, sad, disgusted that that fascist criminal, narcissistic egonmaniac won, our country is broken.
"When The Dark Dresses Lightly" reminds me very much of Kate Bush and Tori Amos, so I can understand why it doesn't appeal to you as much. Not my favorite on the album, but it's still grown on me. This version of "Invisible Wounds" is just *chef's kiss* I too can't wait for the Aurora concert. I'm seeing her in NYC on Dec 5th. As someone from that country next to yours who is very uncomfortable right now, I'm looking forward to feeling her love and magic in person!
Roskilde Festivalen is a festival that has been at the Danish city Roskilde sice 1971. Wind and Denmark are the same thing, so that is to be expected 😊. Was this the first time she did it live on a big stage? It might be..... 130.000 was at Roskilde in 2024, and there was over 100 concerts.
Suggestion for future poll: Apricity's cover of The Secret Garden is pretty phenomenal. It's not Aurora herself, but it's a really beautiful cover and worth seeing if you haven't already.
I go to this festival every year, so I was there, soaking wet and full of mud from the shitty weather 🤣 The Dark Dresses Lightly is one of my favorites from the album. And btw it's Aurora's favorite. It's the essence of the album for her. Suggestion for poll: Yet another cause she helped by playing for free. War Child is a organization who protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children living through conflict in war zones all over the world.1 hour long concert. Don't worry, it's not fancam.🤣 It has time stamps if you don't want to do it all at once. "Aurora for BRITs Week War Child 2024 @ lafayette London (Full Show) - 26.02.2024" Have a beautiful day 💞💕💗
hahaaa Ross kilderrr 😂 it was spelt wrong on the poll which probably didn't help ..thank you for another double!!! The Dark Dresses Lightly is even more epic now than even this performance . ( If nothing goes wrong this is the lineup you'll be seeing❤) It's actually one of my favourite songs on the album..but then again my favourite is The Essence which doesn't seem to get any love 🫤 What can you say about invisible Wounds ..it's just beautiful!! Looking fwd to next week ..have a good one !!..
I don't think you've done 'The Secret Garden' ruclips.net/video/Jc1EOTFT1zU/видео.html "I actually wrote it quite a long time ago, I was quite a little bean back then, I just always felt like this song had quite an imaginative soul. I was a very imaginative child and wrote this song after reading the book The Secret Garden for the first time. When they asked me to make a song for the movie remake, I was so happy and tried to pitch them this old song. It was so meant to be. It was always about finding this magical place in this garden, which can also symbolise shelter. The world can be quite harsh and difficult, especially nowadays. It can feel darker than it is. It's about this magical garden where you’re allowed to grow and nothing is trying to prevent you from just existing and breathing and being healthy."

Great reaction again Ashlena 👍 Aurora having an orgasm at the end of the song 😅..... did you notice her magic hair looking more blonde this time .... A new artist for you to add especially being a close friend to Aurora from school days.. is Sigrid... she has a number of performances on Vevo for example ... IT GETS DARK....DON'T KILL MY VIBE acouple as a taster...😊
Yes, I discovered Sigrid first and was following her. Then I discovered Aurora who just blew me away on every level. I heard Aurora say that her and Sigrid used to plays SIMS together. You can also see Sigrid in Aurora's video documentary 'Nothing is Eternal'.
Suggestion: I know you are not the biggest fan of fancam video, and this is not the best quality video/sound, but the heart quality is mindblowing. A fan ask her to sing with her, and Aurora pulls her up on stage. The girl has autism and learning difficulties, and has a condition that makes her get food through a tube her stomage, her name is Rose. My guess is 14 years old? It is Rose herself (or perents) that has got several video from fans and made one video of it, and posted it on her own channel. ruclips.net/video/qXs_i1AvDZ4/видео.htmlsi=4q6ehVnYr0gTfjnt
She sung this at the end of the London gig and she had the whole audience La La ing for what seemed forever as she slowly left the stage. So moving
awwwww I love that

happy aurora tuesdays! i have to say, that i love 'the dark dresses lightly', i like the syncopation's over the whole song and the lyrics, the dynamics and the idea itself. and 'invisible wounds' has a very beautiful orchestration, trombones, vibraphone, harp, horn, oboes, really nice. but i prefer her intimate version(s) of the song. thanks for the double future.
Ah man I’m gonna be a changed woman after December 2
@@ashlenamusic It will be great, and I guess people are less noisy in the US than in Latin America haha
Happy Aurora Tuesday ❤❤ Invisible Wounds is a beautiful song from a beautiful angel. I also like the live version of the other but that’s no surprise I enjoy all of her live music. Great reaction as always, stay safe and looking forward to next week ❤❤
Thank you! You too! Xx
I have just watched the Once Aurora documentary parts 1, 2 & 3. I think my mouth was wide open for most of it lol. What an insight from her begginings to now. Beautifully recorded and the emotion i felt for her , wow xx
So good right??? Hope you watched it in my Patreon 🤣
Try This a little short AURORA - The River acapella with just the Organ Royal Albert Hall London live 2024
I just saw her live in chile for the second time in my life and she's amazing, you will love her. Btw i love When the dark dress ligthly and im a big Marina fan, maybe there is a conection hahaha
Hahaha maybe!!!
Hahaha rockslide
good morning.
Morning!!!!
Yes I like that, the both side of our mini-wheet Aurora: the frosted one and the serious one loll Have you seen the backstage from the royal albert hall? It's on the Royale Albert chanel, her face when she get to hear the organe, magic. Have a good day.
Yes I did!!! And I cried haha

@@ashlenamusic I know you saw the song, BUT on Royal Albert Hall chanel you have a clip of 9 minute of Aurora BTS befor the concert and a bit of rehersal with the organ. ;-)
Hope you will get to her cover of ”La la la” performed like 8 years ago. Kind of a deep dive but so good…
Loved this! Thank you :)
You're so welcome!
Love how she wipes her forehead at the close of the song.
Add as many as you like xx and thank you Judy you’re too kind xx
"When The Dark Dresses Lightly" reminds me very much of Kate Bush and Tori Amos, so I can understand why it doesn't appeal to you as much. Not my favorite on the album, but it's still grown on me.
This version of "Invisible Wounds" is just *chef's kiss*
I too can't wait for the Aurora concert. I'm seeing her in NYC on Dec 5th. As someone from that country next to yours who is very uncomfortable right now, I'm looking forward to feeling her love and magic in person!
You should just come to Canada for the show haha
@@ashlenamusic 😉❤
Hi Ahlena 👋, a suggestion for your new poll is SAY IT OR SNAIL IT on Deezer , her personality really shines..... Happy vibes...😅❤
Great suggestion!
When will the reaction to her collab with Silvana Estrada happen?
😩😣😟🥺😭😭😭
Ok ok ok it’ll be on the next poll xx
Hi Ahlena , a suggestion for your new poll is SAY IT OR SNAIL IT on Deezer her personality shines... happy vibes 😅
Great idea!!
it's on the poll :)
Whoa
Suggestion for future poll: Apricity's cover of The Secret Garden is pretty phenomenal. It's not Aurora herself, but it's a really beautiful cover and worth seeing if you haven't already.
Not sure if I’ll do non Aurora content for the polls but I’ll definitely consider this for another day!
Daymonthyear 😎🇧🇻
Thank you xx

🦋💚💚🦋
Pleases react Aurora song "All My Demons".
Thank you.
💝💯❣
❤
I go to this festival every year, so I was there, soaking wet and full of mud from the shitty weather 🤣
The Dark Dresses Lightly is one of my favorites from the album.
"Aurora for BRITs Week War Child 2024 @ lafayette London (Full Show) - 26.02.2024"
Have a beautiful day 💞💕💗
YIKES an hour? If i find the time i definitely will do it or maybe it's time for an Aurora live stream
@@ashlenamusic ohh live stream would be great!! 😍
@@ashlenamusic oh and btw she sing many songs - including a few from the new album - that she doesn't do on the tour.
Great one!
hahaaa Ross kilderrr 😂 it was spelt wrong on the poll which probably didn't help ..thank you for another double!!! The Dark Dresses Lightly is even more epic now than even this performance . ( If nothing goes wrong this is the lineup you'll be seeing❤)
It's actually one of my favourite songs on the album..but then again my favourite is The Essence which doesn't seem to get any love 🫤
What can you say about invisible Wounds ..it's just beautiful!! Looking fwd to next week ..have a good one !!..
Hahaha yes it was spelled wrong on the poll that’s definitely why I messed up. Omg I am going to bawl when she sings invisible wounds
It happens 😭😭😭
well, i like each of her songs. that includes 'the essence', another song in which she questions the abrahamitic religions.
Ya, TDDL is not my favourite song but I like this live performance because of those awesome screams she does.
I don't think you've done 'The Secret Garden'
ruclips.net/video/Jc1EOTFT1zU/видео.html
"I actually wrote it quite a long time ago, I was quite a little bean back then, I just always felt like this song had quite an imaginative soul.
Unfortunately that link is not available in canada 😭
Beautiful reaction!😍I love it, and thanks as always, from Italy🤍. I want to raccomanded you to see her performance of "To Be Alright" live for German TV.

Some reaction suggestions (all live) and older videos aka younger Aurora

Aurora: NPR Music Tiny Desk Concert
I wish I could do the tiny desk show, but I reacted to one before my channel was flagged so I don’t think I’ll be doing that again
@ashlenamusic awe stinky 😢
😊👍
Want to see Aurora dance? She is to the right.

Omg she is so good!! And so little!!!
Not long now x
Forgot to mention that (I think) you haven't seen this version of Stjernestøv yet. It's almost Christmas, so that's fitting. : - Vinterens Gåte & Stjernestøv live - Å tenke på en venn - 2020/12/13 ruclips.net/video/YNjl43wCUeI/видео.htmlsi=NqrwVvsKFM1KeQlG ❤
Sweet thanks!
I think you have not yet done the official Runaway guitar and piano versions.
😳
plz react to halsey latest album its so beautiful
Suggestion:
I know you are not the biggest fan of fancam video, and this is not the best quality video/sound, but the heart quality is mindblowing.
