I tried nearly all daws on ios, but, NanoStudio 2 has by far the best workflow! Only things missing for me is plugin automation, audio tracks with warping or stretch.. ❤❤❤
@@iPadBeatMaking 🤔🙂👌 One thing i missing also.. Midi recording from apps like fugue machine or scaler 2.. But still a fantastic app and my favorite app.
Amazing you are the one that makes me show more love to NS2, do you think drawing the note and using NS2 keyboard is better than composing using midi-controller? and I was expecting you would add a guitar and was eager to see how you sketch it out so that it sounds more natural but unfortunately it didn't happened in the video, please add drums and guitar in the next video if possible. thanks for showing so many amazing workflows. Yes I also agree iPad music making is always comfortable and less overwhelming when compared to desktop.
I think it all depends on the skill you have as a player, etc. I enjoy drawing in because it slows things down a bit, helps me understand the interaction/relationship between the notes and timing relative to the grid. It’s a different approach that I think unlocks a different way of thinking. This video was really intended to be an introduction to the work flow that was easy to follow and hopefully if people enjoy it, there will be more follow up videos diving deeper
@@iPadBeatMaking yes I really enjoyed, the most important stuff I saw was you didn't used atom 2 and thats where I become get turned off when atom 2 pops up in your video but its really a good plugin just I dont wish to use it instead I would love to do everything withing the DAW I use. so NS2 workflow shown in this video is just amazing please make more video especially NS2 piano roll. thanks.
I wouldn’t invest any more time in NS2 . It hasn’t been updated in SO long . I’d be too worried that it’s gonna stop working at all at some point . Great video as always , although it was SO good I had to turn it off. I don’t wanna be lured by NS2 anymore . Best DAW on iOS before it was abandoned .
Don’t let that stop you! NanoStudio 2 has some of the most intuitive workflows and editing on iOS and it’s preset/patch menu system is incredible! I’ve built the entire pure synth platinum library into NanoStudio 2 now and it feels like a new app to me. For using touch and just getting to creating, nothing is better imo. And it’s great on iPhone too!
It made it thru the iOS/iPadOS 16 update with no causalities so we are in the clear for at least another year I’d assume! Plenty of time to make more great music, and NanoStudio 2 gives me a great time doing it.
Where can I download these MIDI scales? It’s such a good idea!
Yes ! Same! We need the Scales!!
I love NanoStudio 2 so much. It has so much that makes it one of my favorite apps to work with. I wish it would get developed further ✨
It really is incredible!! Hopefully the dev gets motivated to keep NanoStudio 2 updated with new features
@@iPadBeatMaking Yes Im also looking forward, if experience people like you contact the dev may be would get motivated I think.
I've always been a fan of NS2. Visually, it's my favorite DAW on any platform. Obsidian has a great sound; very versatile.
Absolutely!! There’s very little to dislike about it, especially if you’re a midi/virtual instrument based producer!

Agreed! I’m currently using koala for stretching duties

We solved that with this workaround! ruclips.net/video/sHXG1_9FJxE/видео.html
🔥Nano is KING in iOS! Thanks for the shout out bruh! This is another great video for all to see how great this app really is!!!!
It really is!! Nothing quite like it and it’s so easy and musical!!
I only use this AUM and cubasis 3

That’s how the hit making starts!

@@iPadBeatMaking You’re right…But I’m more hopeful of FL Studio Mobile getting auv3 than I am NS2 getting any further and consistent updates..

@@iPadBeatMaking Ok, I believe it if you say so … Listening to this track you made as I write this. Really enjoying it as usual.
