As much as I admire what they did for Kobe story.. as a Kobe fan This was disappointing for me.. even though it had a lot of crazy moments for it they could’ve done and put more missions and cutscenes if each of the moments in Kobe’s career. It could’ve been insane if we had some missions being from Kobe’s time in the summer league, Kobe and Shaq era, 81 point game even could’ve put him his match against Spain at the olympics and ending it with his last game being the 60 point game. At the same time I like Nba2k.. this year they really Letted me down but.. this is just my thought of it

They definitely would have added the 81 point game and 60 point mamba farewell game. I think they should have also added the game he tore his Achilles. They could have added a mechanic or something where at a certain point in the 4th when you have the ball the game goes into a cut scene of him tearing his Achilles. Then they have you come out and make the free throws. There would have made it so much more impactful if they added “actual” moments in the mode

A little perspective. People talk about this game all the time. This was arguably more impressive than the 81 point game. Also, this was Phil Jackson's first year back with the Lakers after the 04-05 season. He was trying to institute a 90s Bulls offense, he often had Lamar Odom take the ball up the court and put him in a point forward role like Pippen. Pippen is clearly on another level compared to Odom, but back in the early 2000s, Odom, was considered a highly versatile, burgeoning talent who just needed to get his head straight. Case in point, he was the centerpiece of the trade for Shaq in 2004.
Lamar ended up being 6th man of the year and a important piece on a back to back championship team tho so it was a good trade
@@johnwit9857 lol no it wasn't. The Heat won a title and the Lakers went to the lottery and then had 2 consecutive first round exits. Had Jerry West not gifted the Lakers Pau Gasol for Kwame Brown, some filler and some picks, Lamar Odom would've never even been 6th man. He'd still be an underperforming starter who couldn't handle the pressure of being Kobe's right hand man. The only reason people don't look back on that deal as some sort collusion between West and his old team is because Marc Gasol turned out to be a good player, but at the time, he was the 48th pick in the draft and it wasn't even clear if he was going to come to the NBA. The Lakers were actually already good that season after Kobe demanded a trade in the offseason. Andrew Bynum got a lot better and made their team formidable on defense, but when he went down with a season ending injury and the Lakers sucked again, Jerry West came in an saved his protege by gifting him his own team's best player.

I cant get those 10 foul shots in 3 quarters…. It takes forever and seems to be so random when a foul is called or not. I cant draw any either.
