As for film in warsaw - czarno biale sells bulk loaded vision/foma/e100 for some ridiculously low prices. Like 20 zl for foma, up to 60 for ekta. Which is like probably cheapest price for fresh E6 i had seen. Just ask them for bulk rolled ones instead of factory boxed ones. Also, disposables imo are 35mm “brothers” of holga and similar toy cameras. But it’s cheaper to just get some crappy used p&s for 5 usd on flea market and use it till it breaks instead of buying new disposable every time
I was thinking about buying some cheap p&s but I couldn't find anything at reasonable price, also I was there only for two days so there was no time at all. And, let's say, I was curious about disposables, about what can I find inside Ilfocolor, as I said, last time i was using disposable was like 20 (or even more) years ago when I was a kid so it was nice experience for me. Also I didn't have any plan for shooting in Warsaw so making just a test with a random photos was quite a good option ;) Yeah, prices in czarno biale are pretty low, also the shop is in the very center so I can recommend this shop for sure :)
@@grainystories Most of cheap p&s’s that you can get now are sadly focus free plastic lens stuff from the 90s, the days where you could get something like nikon l35 for 50 eur are long gone. Smena 8m is unironically good as cheap p&s, cause ability to set everything manually and lens is better than cheap 90s plastic stuff. Also, unlike premium compacts it probably wouldn’t fall apart( Electronic slr from 90s were build really well and can last same as mechanical slr’s of 1970s, but those compacts like contax t and such were not meant to last over 30 years and falling apart left and right now. Sadly, i had to sell my big mini because of electronical problems, my pal who specifies on analog cameras repairs said that when most of those get bricked - it’s over, you can just throw it out, repairing something like t2 are nightmare. While smena has a perks of being cheap and readily available(cause sold like crazy in eastern block countries) and simple as nails mechanics with actually nice glass
