We think we’re invincible when we’re young. I’m 45 now and life got to me in the end. I have moments of happiness, clarity and creativity but they are clouded by the dark cloud that always returns.

I lost my parent at 12 and I don't have much of an uplifting message. The truth is life won't feel the same and it will change you. The best way to handle it is to allow it to change you for the better by remembering everything they taught you and all of their greatest qualities and applying it in your environment with the people you meet and for yourself. That way they stay alive through your actions and it gives you comfort. I hope you're doing well.
Don't give up on yourself, please. You matter, you art, your life, your soul. Lot of love

My mother passed 5 days before Xmas last year
Dealing with her estate and financial matters having to fight lawyers and her employer who absorbed her 90k and with arrangements never really got to process it and on the anniversary this year it’s been heavy on my mind so as I sit here end of the year a few hours away fighting the flu I hear this and smile a bit cause I miss my mom
