I came here to learn about using QGIS and PostgreSQL and this nailed it. Ms Kane is absolutely excellent at explaining things like this. I particularly liked the bit where she wanted people to understand that by PostGIS she's really talking about a PostgreSQL database with the PostGIS extension enabled. Also... the video capture the spirit of pandemic perfectly. The host is in a small, picture frames hung at random angles, and a healthy beard. Early technical issues help establish the tone. I love the random rectangle in the middle of the screen. And the coughs, sneezes, and seemingly non-diegetic laughter and other evidence that people are unmuted and just gettin' on with their lives makes it all the more real. I came for the content. Stayed for the coughs.
Great video. Would like to know more about the PostgreSQL/PostGIS configuration, i.e. how you organized the databases/schemas and what roles were established and with what permissions they were given.
A great video. Thank you so much. In the video the presenter mentioned a tutorial link to download and install Postgres, can you please share the link.
