Yesterday, I converted NITIE Mumbai and hopefully will convert new IIM and IIFT. But, I don't want to go for MBA, as a working professional, I got to know the reality of corporate jobs. But UPSC is a tough task but job satisfaction, the work you do, the impact you can make in society and many more, you can't get from any Post MBA JOB. Yet, UPSC requires determination and perseverance which is not everyone's cup of tea. But I believe in giving one chance yourselves for UPSC otherwise you will not able to give 100 % to your job

UPSC. Guys ask me that upsc isnt easy. Huge competition. I was also obsessed but at last if you don't clear then you will have money issue too in terms of quality package. Job is like many but after coming out of upsc it is so difficult to adjust after so much of social isolation and dreaming to be an ias. Then u ll realise that had I was little practical I would prefer money. Also GEN CATEGORY YOU ARE DEAD NOW.

Actually it's not. Only if you're a ghaplabaaz and you have the ability to exert power and do corruption only then upsc is good economically. Otherwise for a white money upsc guy an MBA graduate from top IIMs will always be earning higher. Also not everyone is craving for power. If I have to choose between independent, less responsible, personal life and POWER. Then I'll always choose the former. I want to have weekends plans , i want to travel every month. Dont do prep for both... Choose one... Do proper analysis... One benifit Preparing for mba exams is that if you study properly you'll crack most of the mba exams... And after getting good B school admission it is most likely that you'll get a good package...
@@alishagupta7325 my advise is if you really want to try then you can give 2 year to upsc with your 200% efforts... If you crack it then it'll ok.. Otherwise dont give 3rd attempt... Rather prepare for mba exams and take admission into good B schools
I also wanted to go for armed forces after college... So after clg i gave many attempts for 2 yrs but didn't get selected. So now I am also preparing for mba exams this year..

Sure you can. It will be best for you to do mba in HR. It will be a killer combo psychology + mba in HR. You can surely land high paying jobs for that, aim for best b schools
Mba can be done after any stream. Although it would be different for non engineers like us to get into IIM you can try for best non IIM colleges like FMS NMIMS SP JAIN. A company can be managed by anyone so yea opportunities are best after mba even if u did arts
@@Student01256 look brother this is a misconception. IIMs and other top MBA colleges offer a general mba in which everything is covered. So go for general mba rather than specialisation. In that way you can first work in finance then u can switch to marketing then u can switch to consultancy then sales if u want, it's upto you. But if u do s specific mba like mba in finance or mba in marketing then u are bound to do jobs just either in marketing or finance. So go for general mba. Although finance related jobs pays highest and has best growths while marketing and sales jobs are bit low than finance. But ultimately go General / normal MBA where everything is covered.

Very relatable video👍.. But i have a doubt.. I am currently pursuing BA from DU.. Is it a good idea to do MBA along with upsc preparation after BA? But I don't really know what to expect after MBA too.. Are there any other options I can/should consider?

Dont do prep for both... Choose one... Do proper analysis...
One benifit Preparing for mba exams is that if you study properly you'll crack most of the mba exams... And after getting good B school admission it is most likely that you'll get a good package...

@@alishagupta7325 my advise is if you really want to try then you can give 2 year to upsc with your 200% efforts... If you crack it then it'll ok.. Otherwise dont give 3rd attempt... Rather prepare for mba exams and take admission into good B schools
I also wanted to go for armed forces after college... So after clg i gave many attempts for 2 yrs but didn't get selected.
So now I am also preparing for mba exams this year..

Mba can be done after any stream. Although it would be different for non engineers like us to get into IIM you can try for best non IIM colleges like FMS NMIMS SP JAIN. A company can be managed by anyone so yea opportunities are best after mba even if u did arts

@@Student01256 look brother this is a misconception. IIMs and other top MBA colleges offer a general mba in which everything is covered. So go for general mba rather than specialisation. In that way you can first work in finance then u can switch to marketing then u can switch to consultancy then sales if u want, it's upto you. But if u do s specific mba like mba in finance or mba in marketing then u are bound to do jobs just either in marketing or finance. So go for general mba.
Although finance related jobs pays highest and has best growths while marketing and sales jobs are bit low than finance. But ultimately go General / normal MBA where everything is covered.
