Stunning work! I"m making floating lace circle cuffs and tattoo lace shoulders on illusion sleeves for a wedding dress today and this was helpful. I can't help but feel my hand stitches are too big and clumsy, but they do seem to melt into the final work. I'm using thread that matches the lace because the invisible thread is too hard for me to see and it coils back on itself. Even though my mesh is flesh colored the cream thread is nearly invisible even on the back side.
This lady is phenomenal !! I've never seen amazing work like this before I just happen to come across her work on RUclips. And just watching and listening to her she has such a wonderful spirit about herself, continue on with the good /great works .PS what city and state are you in?I would love to have a garment from you.
Is there a certain way that you are cutting through the appliqué without ruining it or causing the beading to unravel? you make it look so easy. Amazing work!
Before watched this video... I already made this type of patch work on my dress.... I didn't know that...this dress made like that.... Nyc video n dress
I am new to your channel ty for all info I am new at all this I wanted to learn how to make special occasion dresses. Do you have tutorial for that beautiful dress in back with feather hown..GORGEOUS
Hi there. I've been looking everywhere for information to determine whether I can sew a pre-made, non-stretch applique to a stretch fabric such as stretch velvet? Any advice you can share would be amazing. Thanks
I love your energy. Thank you for sharing your gift. My dream is to learn how to sew and design clothes. I just purchased a sewing machine and watching video to learn. I'm in live with the sewing community. We are creators and bring positive vides and LOVE to the world. Keep creating beautiful ART. I pray that I am able to create lovely, inspiring garments etc. Prayers UP. T. Ash❤❤❤
I love the work. I personally felt that you showed how to place the applique on mesh then on how to sew the applique onto the mesh. The sewing part was fast forward which I can understand because it's a long process. I just felt like it would have help seeing one min of the video close up showing how to actually sew the applique onto the mesh.
Pls Ashontay what type of thread did u use in tacking the design. Also what's the name of the tool u use in trimming the net of the design. Please respond i beg of u
Very beautiful, ,, u r reallllllyyyyy good,,, pls can u make a tutorialnon how to sew the tulle bodice,,, it's a really big problem for me since it's soo soft,,,, also how to sew button loops at the back of the illusion mesh.. tanx
Thank you for your videos and leaving information where to buy items that you are using. Beginner sewer making my own stage clothes. What are the stretch shirt fabrics that you used. And fabric store. Your skills are rewarding. Thanks.
Silly question 😫 but I’m not a expert at this .. where can I find online a long sleeve plain mesh dress like on the Mannequin ( so I can just sew the appliqué on it ? I want to do my wedding gown.. btw your work is amazing !!!
This is really amazing, thanks so much for this tutorial, u did a wonderful job.pls MA what is the name of the instrument u used to cut out the applique. God bless u
these are good instructions for adding appliques. but how do you remove appliques from already made illusion tulle to make alterations? the stitching is so so small1
I'm about to do an applique for the first time. I feel alot better to do it myself. I have a very intricate pattern peacock actually lol, it has feathers and sprays of color every where that ate about 1/3 wide. would do you think fabric glue might be a better choice than sewing the tiny parts? 🤔
Thank you so much for taking the time to show us this technique! The nude mesh is sewn together like a bodice right? If so, do I connect the mesh bodice to the skirt? Then cleaning the inside raw seams up with my serger? Thank you SewSis! I am so excited to try my first gown! 🥰
Stephanie Williams yes it’s sewn complete like a bodice. You have to connect the top and the skirt before hand sewing your appliqué. I did french seams on the illusion mesh .
Pls if u don't want to double the tulle at the neck line, how can u neatly finish the neckline since when u cut it with scissors, it sometimes stretches making the edges of the neck rough
Life syle Case by case means that the person decides whether or not to use the clear thread with the project. Sometime they’ll say yes and sometimes they’ll say no. So, evaluate each case.

Life syle please reply
You are so amazing! Thank you for showing us this video, just ran into it !👏💓
How did you attach the skirt to the mesh?
Are you going to install bra cups underneath the dress/appliqué? Or should the client wear their own strapless bra?
Where did you get the mesh see through fabric
So you use just one big appliqué for this or you purchased 2?
What are you using to take the tulle from the applique?
a wood burner!
Cute
Where will will get these patch. I m from kolkata
Is it better to use invisible thread over the color of the appliques or is it case-by-case
