12:21 The observation Critic makes here is something that I think too many movies and shows overlook and/or underestimate the importance of. 🧐 Regardless of what kind of movie you’re making, a little bit of genuine sincerity goes a long way!
I’m probably the first in the comments to say I have seen Rookie of the Year. I have a soft spot for this movie, mainly because my dad showed me this movie when I was in middle school and I really liked it, and rewatching it, I still do. However, if I have to pick my favorite baseball movie, it’s definitely The Sandlot. But still, I recommend giving this a chance to look at.
I’ve seen the movie when I was 8 years old, and I enjoy it since I was big Baseball and Cubs fan, it’s pretty cheesy but it was enjoyable to watch, but the Sandlot was a better Baseball film.
@@ThatSexyNerdReacts it's getting harder and harder not to be. It already looks like it's going down the whole Acolyte road. They are already claiming that it is the gayest Marvel creation the same way that they did with the Acolyte. I think that they do this when they don't have a good product so they can claim bigotry for it's lack of success the same way they did with the Acolyte. Honestly I hope it's good because I love good paranormal entertainment but from a track record I'm highly doubting it
@@ThatSexyNerdReacts true but just like Inside Out 2, Deadpool and Wolverine didn't put any agendas in it. I think from the trailers to the interviews with the cast, that is not gonna be the case. They even forced Inside Out 2 to remove all the agenda they were trying to push and that it why it was sucessful. Hopefully that will lead Disney into just making plain old entertaining movies again
Growing up the only baseball movie I watched was that one animated movie “Everyone’s hero” which was a pretty decent movie.
Honestly, I would have hooked everyone in by saying it’s a movie with John Candy in it.
