This is how the braking system formula works in a train
The braking system installed by the engineers in the train is quite different. Which makes it unique. To stop a moving car, the driver has to apply brakes. Whereas brakes are applied all the time in a train. To run the train, the brake shoe is removed from the wheel with air pressure. As soon as the train has to be stopped, the air pressure is released from the pressure pipe. This makes the brake shoe stick back to the wheel and the train stops. The command of the brake shoe pressure remains with the loco pilot. He fills the pressure through two pipes to remove the brake shoe from the wheel. This pressure is filled at the rate of five kilos per square centimeter.
